Escápese a la costa, a solo un par de horas en coche de San Francisco, al norte por la autopista 1. Acogedora cabaña remodelada, situada entre las secuoyas costeras de la autopista 1 en Anchor Bay, justo al norte de Sea Ranch.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Ryan and Darnie’s cottage! Beautifully decorated and super comfy with everything we needed. Sitting under the huge trees in the morning and evening while hearing the ocean was amazing! Loved all the hiking trails around the beach below. Such a relaxing and enjoyable stay-thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, well appointed house; comfortable, convenient and good looking. We slept well, had hot showers and a roaring fire. Recommended.

Anchor Bay cottage

We had a wonderful visit. The property is spacious, in a quiet neighborhood, and very tastefully designed and furnished. The proximity to the beautiful beach is very convenient. There are restaurants, a fully-stocked grocery store, laundry, etc. close by. A personal bonus was being just a few miles north of the amazing Sea Ranch.

North Coast Getaway

Received check-in information late at the end of a long and stormy drive. Very cold first night till wood stove heated up the floor and main room. Place is very cute. Close to some great hikes. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Enjoyed the peaceful retreat

Highlights=Deck shaded by redwood tree, easy tp find,well stocked kitchencozy bedrooms with super soft linen,pretty accesible to local beaches, the sound of the sea lions at night

Sister Retreat

We enjoyed the tastefully decorated, relaxing and spacious house. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We forgot to pack games and wish there were some in the house. We knew about the spotty internet and cell service, but that might be more of an issue for some. We enjoyed being unplugged!

Anniversary week trip

We recently spent a week at this wonderful cottage. We had a very relaxing and peaceful time. The cottage actually has 2 full bedroom’s although the second bedroom wasn’t mentioned . The cottage is located within walking distance to a couple of restaurants as well as a general food market the pretty much has everything you could need and doesn’t break the bank. It was amazing how quiet it was given it’s maybe 3 blocks from Hwy 1. It’s modern, well maintained , and a perfect getaway for a couple or small family. Awesome deck and you can sit out on the deck and listen to the seals barking not far away. Nice kitchen , but bring your own spices if you plan on cooking much. Loved it and will definitely return

Wonderful stay

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute. The location was quiet and close to the coast and many hikes. Would love to return!

Nice place

I would have given 5 stars except for 2 things. 1. It was very cold the first day and night. The small heater in the living room was not adequate to heat the whole house. There was very little firewood. We could not make the heater in the bedroom work. 2. The television experience was a disaster. We were told that the satellite went out in bad weather. My husband tried to watch a basketball game. It went out every 2-3 minutes in clear weather. Otherwise the place is nice and cozy

The view off the deck at sunset and the water is stellar in the evening and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. It’s such a great get away retreat. If you travel south on Highway 1 less than 5 minutes there is easy beach access.

Guests will be delighted to enter this large 2-bed house with ocean views. Its well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces are light, airy and up to date,. The big deck with BBQ and telescope is a plus.

Lovely modern cottage. Filtered view of ocean. Lovely beach, good market and exceptional Thai restaurant at the foot of the short hill. Clean and comfortable place.

Nice but not comfortable in winter time

This is a pleasant cottage. However, there is no central heat. A couple of portable heaters do not warm the place in winter. There is a fireplace, but no firewood in stock. This might be a good place for staying in warm weather, but during winter - this is rather uncomfortable.

Quiet Redwoods Escape

Very peaceful property with peak-a-boo ocean views and everything necessary for a relaxing getaway. Immaculately cleaned, so we felt safe coming here during the pandemic. Will definitely be back.

Such a great experience

This place was so perfect for our anniversary getaway. It was such a cozy and beautiful house, in such an incredible location - surrounded by redwoods and hearing sea lions thruout the night. The heaters kept us warm and the bed was soo comfy. The store was right around the corner and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed watching some of the DVDs such as The Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded (a fun throwback). We were able to catch a dreamy sunset for our second night while having dinner on the porch after grilling some lamb. Thank you Ryan and Darnie for prompt communication! We’ll definitely recommend this spot and hope to come back!

Quiet little town. Loved the area. The house was perfect to celebrate an anniversary. Remarkably clean perfect kitchen. Wi-Fi was spotty but did not matter. cannot wait to return!
