This was an amazing place to stay!! We brought our kids and grandkids up for a true Christmas experience and our host did not disappoint!!! The cabin was so nicely decorated with all the Christmas things from the nutcrackers to the Christmas tree it was truly a Hallmark moment. So much room and so nicely maintained. My wife cried when she seen how beautiful it was.

Beautiful cabin and property on quaint little creek on quiet road. Our group stayed at Kym’s place for just the weekend to celebrate birthdays and could not have picked a better place. House is very well equipped, clean (but a little dusty from gravel road which was to be expected with doors and windows open and for being a rustic place in the woods) dog friendly which was a huge plus for us since we had 3 dogs with us. Kym’s very communicative and made us feel at ease and welcome! Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful place

The cabin is beautiful and the owner is great! There is someone living in a separated area that is connected to the cabin downstairs, which we were unaware of until we got there. They didn’t bother us but it felt kind of weird. We could hear them talking so I’m sure they could hear us, so it didn’t feel totally private.

Wonderful, rustic cabin experience

Overall, we were pleased with this spacious home. It provided more than the basics you'd expect from a VRBO, and was homey and hospitable. Everybody in our group had private sleeping quarters, and enough bathrooms to accommodate us all. We did see some insects and cobwebs, and it smelled faintly of mothballs or something, but for a cabin in the woods, it was enjoyable.

Leavenworth cabin

Loved the location and area. Cleanliness could use some improvement. Dusty and laundry incomplete when we arrived. Other than that we had a great trip.

This is a wonderful home and property that accommodates our family including the dogs! The air conditioning works great and was definitely needed. Communication with the owner is very easy.

Log cabin for the win!

We had a wonderful time. The space was perfect for my husband and myself, our 2 adult sons and partners, teenage daughter and best friend. Location was very peaceful, no highway noise when outside. You just hear the creek and birds! Highly recommend!

Spacious but dirty

We were happy with the size of the home and the ability to accommodate multiply families in 1 house. Unfortunately for our experience the house was very dirty. All the comforters had dog hair stuck to them, the showers had dog hair stuck to the walls, the kitchen utensils were dirty, dining table and island table were very oily, carpet in the living room was very dirty, it left all of our socks black. The towels that were placed in the bathroom's smelled rancid and we had to wash all the bedding, towels and kitchen utensils before use. We were hoping to have a relaxing weekend, but we spent our entire first day cleaning the house before being able to comfortably relax. I would not stay in this home again, very unsanitary for our 2 month old.

Perfect Extended Family Getaway

This was a delightful place to stay. It was large enough to fit everyone comfortably and still seemed cozy. So many cute decorative details. Great entertainment for the kids in the basement. Plenty of toys for various ages and the ping pong table was a hit. The host got a fire going for us in the fireplace just before we arrived and we kept it going most of the weekend. Our group had ages 5 to 70 and everyone had a good time! Highly recommend.

Fantastic Getaway Spot!

Cabin is large enough for more than the 11 people we had staying there. Bedrooms were good sized, Beds comfortable. Very well stocked with kitchen amenities, Movies, Streaming capabilities. A fireplace if you want that. some toys for the kids. Not far from Leavenworth, The reindeer farm or the Sleigh rides. We didn't want for anything! Had plenty of snow so the kids had fun sledding. Great time was had by All in our party! Would definitely go there again!

3 night stay

It’s a beautiful cabin, stocked with anything you could need and more. The only down side was having to take all the garbage with you when you leave. It worked alright with us because we had a truck, but I couldn’t imagine packing out all your trash if you had a car.

Nice cabin in the woods

Nice cabin outside Leavenworth, could be in better repair and you do not have the entire property to yourself. The entire lower floor is a mother in law suit that was occupied and could be heard late into the night. Beautiful location but would not rent again at current price point and knowing that it’s not truly private

Solid log house

Nice property. Owner very accessible and easy to communicate with. Only drawback- the kitchen refrigerator, stove, (esp the front) and sink were not clean.

Family vacation

The house is gorgeous. Decor is amazing! Property seemed smaller than appeared in pictures but was fine. Can’t see the mountains as pictured in the listing from the property but can see them from down the road. I feel bad having to say this because the house is amazing but we ended up with a bat in the house. Owner said she was going to have someone come and take a look at where we think they were getting in tho. Kym was super helpful and thank goodness she happened to be there when we arrived because we never received the check in info from vrbo prior to us getting there. We received an email with the location but nothing else. Beautiful, remote location.

Worked out great for bachelor party!

The space was great for multiple guys looking to have fun in a secluded area! Long term renters below this listing joined in the festivities! Great kitchen for cooking, great property for outdoor activities, plenty of rooms/beds, short distance to Leavenworth, and a welcoming vibe are what you can expect! 60th Birthday

It was perfect. Our family ranged from 4-80. There was something for everyone. We enjoyed the beautiful cabin and the wonderful outdoors. We took walks around the property and relaxed watching all the wildlife! Thanks for having us at you beautiful home!

Great getaway!

Good Chaps Ranch continues to be an excellent getaway for my family and accommodates my husband’s wheelchair, adult kids and 2 dogs. Great location and easy in and out. We hope to return in the future!

Good chaps

Nice house with lots of room. We thought the house was very comfortable but felt the house was very dark. The lighting in the house felt inadequate. The house also did not feel very clean. Kitchen and dining room needs a good cleaning. Other than that, the house was roomy and quiet.

Cabin mountain lodge

This is a beautiful roomy lodge like cabin, perched perfectly in the woods. This home is very roomy, decorated beautifully, and well stocked for cooking and baking together as a family! We enjoyed every bit of the house, taking advantage of the large yet cozy basement with games and an additional fireplace!

Lovely Cabin

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful log cabin with plenty of space and unique decor. Plenty of amenities for cooking meals for everyone. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and great memories made.

Beautiful Cabin!

We had a great stay at the cabin this weekend with a group of friends. It's very well stocked and cozy with room to spread out. I would say that we had enough comfortable beds for 12-13 people. For adults, I don't think anyone would have been super excited to sleep on the futons or cots in the basement. But overall, we had a great time!
