Perfect for our family of 5

The place was cleaned and fully stocked with all household items you could think of. All you need to bring is your food and drinks. Would definitely recommend staying here. The pool, clubhouse and basketball/tennis court was amazing too.

Good experience

Stay was good, few small things missing like wine bottle opener and regular sal and pepper condiments, only bad experience was not able to get in with the code and waiting for the code for the key.

Good but just a couple things…

Overall a good stay and everything was in order. I have stayed at these condos 4 times now and this was the first time in one rented out by a business rather than an individual. Personally I prefer the individuals. They are much more flexible about things, check in and check out times specifically, and it just feels more like they personally care if you have a good time and are comfortable. The unit was good and clean and we had a great time. We did have a problem getting in at the beginning- the lock pad wasn’t working and so after waiting in the parking lot for 2 hrs, because we couldn’t check in early, we to call and have some try to troubleshoot with us over the phone to get the lock to work- which took another 20 plus minutes before we could get inside.

Family friendly fun

Our family had a wonderful time at Oakwater in Orlando. The unit was clean and cozy. There was plenty of room for our family and it was so conveniently located. There is a Walmart just outside of the community, if you are willing to brave it. We did two days of Disney while we were there and we could not have asked for a more convenient location. I would love to visit again some day.

Disney Get away

10 min from. Kingdom entrance. Location is perfect. Kitchen nicely equipped. Living room TV phenomenal with Disney plus access!! Walking distance to clubhouse and pool. Parking spot is around corner but able to find closer spot most of the time.

Disgusting

The bedding in this home was disgusting. It looked like they just made the bed from the guest before, without switching them out. The king bedding literally had gum stuck on it and what looked like a hot sauce stain. The other beds were not any better and literally got more disgusting once we started peeling the sheets off. It was late when we arrived. So we had to put towels down over the bed to sleep. The next day I called multiple times to get everything resolved only to arrive back from the parks to see it was not. And it was after hours. So nothing could be done. Mind you I had been calling through out the day. I had to go out and buy sheets for all the beds because even the sheets they delivered were dirty. I spoke to a manager at one point and had asked for the dirty sheets and covers to be picked up and she assured me everything would but nope. Those dirty, disgusting sheets and covers stayed there for my entire week stay. The shower door fell off that track and almost onto me as well. The washing machine shook so much it banged into the dryer. That took 2 days to fix and then I still had to do separate spin cycles because it didn’t spin the water out the clothes right. I have pictures and video of all of this. Completely disappointed in this property. I was refunded their cleaning fee and for the sheets I bought but it was still a mess staying there. Honestly I’d never book this property again. Really debating on even booking through Vacasa again because of this property.

February Vacation

The condo was clean and was great for our family. We stayed their while my daughter competed at NHSCC at Disney. We never needed the property management but they left us all the information we would have needed. The only issue I had was parking was not available in the parking spots on the side of the building that our door was on. We were able to park at the garage area. I think some of our neighbors had several vehicles. Thank you for letting us stay at your property!

Great place!

Close to most major attractions, felt secure with the gated community, nice clean place to stay. Bed and pillows were nice and soft! Plenty of parking.

Great space!

We loved the location and the space was clean and tidy and suited our party of six perfectly. A word of caution; Oakwater requires you to have a parking pass which was not information included in the Vacasa check in system. We woke up the first morning to find a big ugly violation sticker stuck to the window of one of our cars. It requires goo gone and a razor to remove. To avoid that check in and get registered at the clubhouse as soon as you arrive.

Disney in March

We stayed at the condo for 8 days and the stay was quiet. The appliances all worked well and the condo is as pictured. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The condo stairs were dirty, and the ones leading down to the garage had dirty footsteps at the bottom by the entrance to the garage. While the place looked clean there where some places that needed more attention. I told my daughter not to turn on the lamp in the bedroom because of the quantity of the dust in the lamp and on the bulb (I was afraid it could cause a fire). Beds were all comfortable and clean. It was very convenient to all attractions, restaurants and shopping.

Fabulous amenities and great location

The condo was absolutely perfect for our Disney vacation. Very close to the parks and the amenities on the property were great. The pool was amazing, they had a splash pad and playground for the kids. I would definitely come back here!

Our 3rd visit, but will NOT be returning to Oakwater

We are very disappointed in the upkeep of this property. I don’t know if it’s the new Mgmt company VaCasa, but we definitely were not impressed with them. We did not feel they were very professional or courteous after having to deal with them after our departure (let me just say, make sure you don’t accidently leave anything behind)! The first thing we noticed & were upset about was the quality of the beds, during our prior visits the beds were much more comfortable, I’m pretty sure they were replaced with very cheap mattresses. After long days at Disney you want to be able to get a good nights sleep, that did not happen here. Upon arrival our condo was also not very clean (prior it always has been) our comforter literally had bodily fluids on it & crusted food, as well as the bathrooms being full of black hair that was easily visible. Overall this was a very disappointing experience & we have rented this particular condo 3 times, as well as multiple others at Oakwater, however we will NOT be returning again when we come back this summer! Very sad because we loved how close it was to Disney & used to think it was a hidden gem.

Fantastic location, gated community, plenty of space/parking

Excellent location - 10 minutes drive to WDW, 25 mins to Universal Studios. Very clean, plenty of space for a family of 5. This was a welcome, comfortable respite after long days spent walking around parks. We cooked there every night, kitchen had all necessary accessories, just bring your own food, condiments, coffee, etc. Was close enough to WDW parks so you can come back for lunch. There is a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and Target within a few miles. Can walk to the new Walmart which is huge (but busier than O'Hare airport pretty much 24/7, be warned - at least there were >2 registers open lol). Too cold to use the pool, and didn't really wander around so cannot speak to the shared facility amenities. Quiet neighborhood, no issues navigating the gate for entry. Door lock took a minute to figure out but then easy to use. Great stay, would stay there again and highly recommend.

Home awsy fron home

It was realy like to be home. The condo has everthing you may think of. There is nice pool for the relax day. The location is good as well. Close to the parks, publix, target is 10 min drive away. Soon there will be walmark just in front of the resort. What else can you ask for.
