Lovely villa

This property was perfect for our family of 6 during our vacation to Kauai. We had all the comforts of home and appreciated the use of beach equipment. The villa was a bit warm in the evening, but cooled down at night.

Kauai dream

This was one of the nicest vacation rentals I have stayed in. Very well furnished and comfortable. Great view of mountains from back patio. Next to golf course. Close to food and beaches. There is no air conditioning but that not an issue for anyone except sleeping the first night. I’m used to cooler nights. They do have lots of fans and we had all windows open. We would definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous North Shore location

Our family of 5, two adults, 3 boys (22, 19, 17) all throughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The split floorpan workout out great, plenty of space to spread out, and the unit was extremely well stocked. But the absolute best part was the incredible view from the windows and balcony. Stunning! We all want to come back and hated to leave. Booking this property, there was several forms and things to fill out, but once that was all done, process was simple.The extra fans were appreciated. Very good communication and text messages leading up to our stay.

Kauai adventure 2022

The property is clean and lovely. The handbook was very helpful - what to do with recycling, trash, check -in & out. There are several books in the home about the history of the area, very interesting to learn about Hanaleai Town. I felt we were respectful and quiet - I met some of the permanent residents and got a feel for what it'l like to actually live on the island. I appreciate the tips and suggestions for expeditions!

Wonderful place with beautiful views

This home is beautiful, well equipped, and has outstanding views of the mountainous terrain. The community is gated and very quiet. We didn't use the swimming pool but they did have plenty of beach and pool towels available. There was 5 beach chairs, 2 beach mats, 2 bogie boards and some sand toys for when you head to the beaches. I loved the location, so much to do with a lot of beaches close by. They also had a binder full of suggestions of where to eat and things to do. When we had a question about parking they got back to us immediately and was very helpful. Two thing to note, there is no air conditioning (not uncommon), so make sure you close all the shades while you're gone or it will get quite hot in the house. Second thing is that there is a quite a lot of steps for you older people with hip and knee issues and people with small children. It would not stop me from renting this place again but just so you're aware. It was fabulous!

A lovely, well-maintained vacation home in Princeville

This villa is located in a Princeville community that is almost adjacent to the Makai Golf Club. It's a modern, two level town home that has two master bedrooms off the lower level foyer, an open living area upstairs that also includes a study with a trundle bed, bathroom with a shower and a well-equipped kitchen and dining space. A small deck with two chairs is just off the living area. A narrow one car garage is also part of the property, and a Dodge Ram truck is probably not the best rental choice for this garage. Each unit has a nearby visitor's parking space that might be an option for that big truck. The house has been impeccably decorated and is very well-maintained in pristine condition. It is not an ideal home if you're traveling with young children, but is perfect for one or two couples who might be golfers. While it is not on the water, the ocean can be heard on occasion. As another review stated, AC was not needed although the outside temperatures hovered near 80 much of the time during our visit. Maybe August is different, but ceiling fans are plentiful throughout the house. My only suggestion for future renters is to bring ear plugs or avail yourselves of an air filter kept in the bedroom closet. One or the other is needed to drown out the din of the roosters that always begins at sunrise, but sometimes much earlier. Otherwise, this is an excellent property and location and provides good value for the money.

Beautiful, spacious condo with stunning views

We just returned from spending two weeks in this rental and I can't wait to go back! We have rented many homes around the world and this one is at the top of our list of favorites for the location, the condo itself, and the view. First of all, the photos of this property don't do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised by how elegant and beautifully decorated the place is. Everything is in excellent condition, the kitchen is fantastic, and there were many nice touches (beautiful interior lights, high ceilings, quiet fans, blinds that easily go up and down, and the best bar soap I've ever found--a natural Hawaiian brand which was sold at the local natural food store). The condo was also extremely clean and the two downstairs beds were very comfortable. It was also great to have things for the beach -- plenty of towels, boogie boards, and chairs. What we loved most about this property was the view of the mountains. I could sit for hours on the lanai and gaze at the clouds moving in and out, the rainbows, the waterfalls, and the birds flying by. To get up in the morning and look at this view was wonderful. It's sooooo much better than the photo! This condo seems to be in the best location in the Villas of Kamalii (many others didn't seem to have as much privacy or the view) and most of the time it was really quiet. The pool is also really nice and the hot tub was wonderful (except that there were a few days when it was cold). We were in Kauai during what was apparently the busiest time of year (Christmas holiday time) and every condo in this place was occupied. There were often many kids and families in and around the pool, but even so it was fine. From inside the condo you couldn't hear a thing. It was an incredibly peaceful place. The only issue was the internet. There were a number of evenings when it didn't work -- it was exceptionally slow, or not responsive. We mentioned this to the property manager and she said we could call the company and they'd help us over the phone. We never got around to doing this--we didn't want to go through the tedious phone conversation with the internet company which often doesn't result in much. I didn't mind having limited internet access (it bothered my husband more). The owner was also very responsive to questions as was the property manager. And this is a great location - 5 minutes to Hanalei and the most gorgeous beach in Kauai. We highly recommend this rental and hope to return!

Breathtaking views

Everything about this condo is perfect; It exceeded all of our expectations. Road to Hanalei is open only certain times of the day and is down to a one lane road, so expect delays getting in/out. Umbrella, beach chairs, and cooler for the beach!

45th Anniversary Celebration!

The condo is in a great location in Princeville and extremely clean and well decorated! There are a lot of “don’ts” regarding the beautiful wood floors, so not place for children! The lighting was very poor in the kitchen and family room area, but the bedrooms were very comfortable. There is a great mountain view from the small balcony for two! The complex is very quiet and clean.

Wonderful Stay

The pictures do not do this home justice. It is stunning, beautifully appointed with the most amazing views of the Napali Mountains from your Lanai. Everything you need is there, right down to the dish sponge. It’s location is perfect, minutes to shopping and a few restaurants. The development is so quiet, out stay was very peaceful and comfortable. The owner was fast to respond as well as the management company. Highly recommended, we will be back!

Superb! On beautiful Kauai.

We decided to return to Kauai to celebrate a 60th Birthday and a 30th wedding Anniversary. After a record breaking month of cold and snow here in Minnesota we were ready for warmth and green. We had only stayed at resorts on the Island and decided to try VRBO for our first time. WE ARE SOLD!! This property is all it’s promised to be and much more. Upon arrival, we took wine and went out and sat on the lanai to look at the stars. It was magical! We were exhausted from the long trip and were so pleased to find the bed was so comfy. This home is emaculate and tastefully decorated. We learned that air conditioning is not necessary. We opened windows and had the fans going which kept the condo very comfortable. We really appreciated the beach towels, coolers and beach chairs as we drove to a different beach every day. The sun was shining somewhere on Kauai each day so we followed the sun. When it came time to return home we both agreed that we’d be back and if this home is available we will DEFINATELY book it again!

Beautiful condo with amazing views and very well located.

We had the most wonderful time in Princeville and staying at this condo was a real treat! The pictures on the VRBO website were really nice, but we were absolutely blown away when we opened the front door and walked in. The condo is located in a lovely, upscale development, is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and the views are stunning! We loved EVERYTHING about it and should we return to Princeville we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The owners were delightful to deal with and were readily available to answer any of our questions.

Wonderful! Very comfortable and relaxing!

Loved the villa. Fantastic view with waterfalls in view almost every day. The villa is nicely decorated and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. PM and owner is very responsive and any issues we had (minor ones like light bulbs out and a defective door handle) were fixed right away. We stayed for 4 weeks and will definitely stay here again!
