Family Home in Burgundy's Puisaye

This is our family holiday home. It is comfortable, fully equipped with everything that you might need for your stay and able to sleep up to 10 people

The location: The house is located amoungst the fields of northern Puisaye/Burgundy. It is extemely peaceful but also at the centre of a region full of history and interest

The house: There is the main house (8people) and a seperate studio (2people). There is plenty of outdoor space with outdoor dining equipment and things to amuse the children.

Lounge room / dining room: In the lounge room there is a fire place (also radiators for heating) with two sofas. There is a TV with fibre internet, so you can watch TV or use Netflix/Disney+ (own account required). The dining room table seats up to 10 people comfortably. There is also a piano for anyone who is musical.

Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped to allow you to prepare your meals, with oven/cooktop, microwave, fridge and all the utensils that you might need. As it is our own holiday home there are also cooking basics (e.g. salt, pepper, oil) that you're welcome to use and replace if required.

Laundry: The house contains a laundry with washing machine and dryer

Bathrooms: The main house contains two bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. Both contain a shower, toilet and double basin.

Bedrooms: The main house sleeps 8 people. There is a double bed downstairs. Upstairs there is 1 bedroom at the top of the stairs containing 2 single beds as well as a dedicated work space. There is also a second bedroom containing a double bed. Finally, in the children's playroom there is a sofa-bed. In the studio there is a double bed.

Play area: Upstairs there is a play area with a range of toys and games for the children to keep them occupied when the weather outside is not so nice.

Work area: In the same space as the two single beds there is a desk where you can set up your computer and work if required.

Studio: Although we won't make it available by default, if your group is sufficiently large there is also a separate studio which contains a double bed, shower, toilet and a lounge room with a double fold out sofa bed.

Guests are welcome to use all parts of the house. The studio will only be opened if the size of the group means that there are an insufficient number of beds in the main house. The garages will remain locked.

Please note that there is an unsecured pond on this property (see photos). Although it is not deep, for this reason the house may not be suitable for families with small children.
