There are several villages close-by along the coast of Loch Fyne offering shops, activities, a museum, gardens, eating places, brewery, themed activity centre and countryside walks. The small county town of Lochgilphead is approximately 24 miles away, with interesting shops, cafés, bars and a leisure centre with swimming pool.

For day trips, you are conveniently situated for ferries to Arran, Bute, Islay and Gigha, and to Campbeltown, Kilmartin, Glencoe and Loch Lomond.
