the room was comfortable and very clean, parking right outside the front door for a moderate fee. The hotel is right on the sea front with a great view. Be advised that there is no lift

A quality B&B experience

Everything about the public areas and our room/ ensuite screamed quality and attention to detail. Our room, up on the third floor, was spacious with a super king size bed (requested at booking) which was extremely comfortable not least because of the superior bed linen. The tea/coffee selection and biscuits were a level above the norm. We have it on good authority that the breakfasts were impressive, though we chose to have a light breakfast at our friends’ flat about a 2 minutes walk away.

Fabulous.

Everything! Lovely spotlessly clean, spacious room, tastefully decorated. Excellent shower/bathroom. I've been staying with Tom, Jill and co. for several years, around 10 or 11 nights a year and wouldn't go anywhere else in Scarborough. I always feel well looked after and whatever staff are on duty, they're really friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere! One minor but helpful addition would be a couple of decaf tea bags in the room in addition to all the other lovely things on the tray.
