A short walk into the heart of Barmouth with easy access to the train station, our apartment is well located for exploring the area. 31km to Portmeirion and 18km to Harlech Castle. Alternatively, take a scenic walk over Barmouth bridge to Fairbourne, where you might just see the dolphins arcing through the waves. This leisurely walk will take approximately an hour along a flat well maintained path. If you don't fancy walking back, why not take the steam train back to the mouth of the Mawddach Estuary and the ferry over to Barmouth. For guests who like a slightly more challenging walk with amazing views of the sea and mountains, try the Panoramic walk. Beginning in Barmouth, this moderate walk will take you through woodlands, country roads, and open areas with views over the surrounding landscape.
