Dowran is the perfect retreat to escape to for a holiday on the West Coast. Immaculately and tastefully restored throughout, this two-bedroom dog-friendly property is right in the heart of Canonstown, moments from the charming port town of Hayle, and a short drive to vibrant St Ives and Mounts Bay.
The interiors are stylish and sophisticated while still being sympathetic to the original Cornish features. Dowran boasts on-site parking and a private garden, perfect for soaking up the Cornish sunshine.
The living area boasts exposed beams and deep-set windows, framing a perfect spot to unwind after exploring. Snuggle up on the plush L-shaped sofa in front of the Smart TV or cozy up by the crackling log-burner on cooler evenings.
The newly fitted kitchen is a dream for any home cook. Modern and fresh, it retains its charm with a delightful garland of dried flowers adorning the exposed beam. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, a spacious American-style fridge/freezer, a butler sink, a washing machine, a Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer, a wine cooler, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and all the essentials for whipping up delicious meals.
The large kitchen island acts as a spacious breakfast bar with seating for four guests.
Upstairs, the master bedroom is a haven of tranquility. Nestled in the eaves, it features a stunning king-size bed in luxurious sage green velvet. Clever cubby holes and a clothes rack offer ample storage during your stay.
The second bedroom is a cool and calming retreat with a comfortable super-king bed which can also be configured as two single beds and plenty of storage.
Indulge in a relaxing soak in the deep, free-standing bathtub with brass fixings in the family bathroom. There's also a spacious walk-in rainfall shower with an additional handheld shower, a heated towel rail, WC, and wash hand basin.
Dowran boasts a private and enclosed garden at the front of the cottage, the perfect place to soak up the Cornish sunshine and enjoy a breath of fresh air.
