West London is my favourite part of the city. It's charming and quiet enough that you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city, but central and connected enough that you can explore all of London's main attractions.
Shepherd's Bush station is just 7 minutes' walk from the apartment, and from there you can easily jump on the Central Line to Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road, Notting Hill, etc; or on the overground to visit Richmond and Hampstead Heath, or go as far as East London.
