Just on the outskirts of the centre of Tain, One Springfield is a quirky yet cosy 2-bedroom townhouse full of character. One Springfield is perfectly located to be in walking distance of the High Street and Tain's wonderful amenities. Whether you are staying for business or a trip away, One Springfield is the perfect place to stay.

Tain is a hidden gem of a town that offers an unparalleled retreat for those seeking an authentic Highland experience. Surrounded by a tapestry of history and natural beauty, the town of Tain invites you to discover a harmonious blend of serenity and adventure, creating an idyllic setting for your next trip.
Just on the outskirts of Tain lies the esteemed Glenmorangie Distillery, where whisky connoisseurs can indulge in tastings, savouring the distinctive flavours of Scotland's renowned spirit.
For those with a passion for golf, you have the Old Tom Morris Tain Golf Course only a 5 minute drive away, and the legendary Royal Dornoch Golf Club a mere 15-minutes away. Here, amidst breathtaking coastal views, golf enthusiasts can test their skills on some of the Highlands best courses.
Tain also has a variety of local stores, from quaint artisanal shops to traditional Scottish craft stores, you can delight in a charming shopping experience, discovering treasures that reflect the town's cultural heritage.
With a wide range of local eateries, guests can savour the diverse flavours of the Highlands, indulging in authentic Scottish cuisine at local restaurants that showcase the region's finest produce. The town's warm hospitality ensures that every meal becomes a memorable part of your stay.

One Springfield is located just outside of the centre of Tain making it the ideal place for someone to stay if using Public Transport upon arrival or departure. The streets leading to the property are also very well lit at night due to the surrounding street lights.
Entry to One Springfield is through the black garden gate on Morangie Road with the sign that says "Springfield". This will lead you in to the large garden.
One Springfield does not have allocated parking spots, however, there is free on-street parking available up Morangie Road. Please note that parking is limited and used by the public. There is usually no issue with parking space, however, availability is not 100% guaranteed.
On the ground floor you have the Kitchen/ Dining area, Living Room, small WC and a large porch area. The first floor has 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom.
The Kitchen/Dining area has been beautifully designed to offer a cosy space for guests to enjoy a meal together. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, electric hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a dining table to seat 6 people. It is also well-stocked with your typical kitchen essentials making it easy to prepare a home-cooked meal after a day of exploring the local area.
The spacious living area has been designed to make you feel cosy as you sit around the log burner. Not only does it have a cosy log burner, but there is also a Smart TV so that you can catch up on your favourite shows whilst you are away.
There is also a large porch area just as you enter the house which has a cosy seating area to enjoy a morning cup of coffee as the sun seeps in through the large windows.
Both bedrooms on the first-floor host king-size beds, and are fully equipped with bed linen and towels for throughout your stay. You will also find drawers, hangers, and hairdryers available for your use.
The bathroom on the first floor hosts a shower-over-bath.
Not only is the house beautifully finished, but there is also a large garden surrounding the property. Guests can enjoy the large outdoor garden and make use of the washing line to the front of the property. The spacious garden also makes for the perfect place for any children or pets to burn off that last-minute energy before bed.
When travelling to One Springfield, we highly recommend researching your public transport routes or ensuring that you have access to a car.
Unfortunately, Tain does not have access to apps such as Lyft or Uber, and our only modes of public transport are Bus (Stagecoach), Train (Scotrail), and the occasional private hire Taxi company.
