Good communication with owner and simple checkin/checkout. Apartment was clean and as advertised. It does not have a common space other than a kitchen table which wasn’t a big deal to us but others should note that if important to them. Was located near a busy street which provided easy access to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. However, at times it was a little distracting at night while trying to fall asleep. Central city locations like Piazza Maggiore are an easy 15-20 minutes away.

What a great location! An easy walk to the Old Town Center. The apartment is clean. Our favorite thing was the hot water in a great shower.

WARNING! – APARTMENT IS A DISASTER!Where do I begin to rate this place… First, communication with the management company was subpar throughout our stay. The first thing we see as we enter the property are bloody fingerprints on the hallway wall. Next, the apartment had a foul smell, like it hadn’t been properly cleaned and maintained for some time. Third, the apartment was stark, cheaply furnished, and not as represented in the VRBO photos. The back bathroom fan had so much dust and filth collected on it after years of neglect. The first night we had ZERO HOT WATER for bathing!! The next morning, we discovered the apartment had not been made ready by turning on the water heater. After turning it on, it began to leak water. We had to communicate and coordinate with a plumber to get this resolved. We were on the phone with VRBO the first night to resolve these issues. We sent them pictures of everything that was unacceptable. We requested a cleaning crew reclean the entire apartment. Only the fingerprints were removed, and deodorizer sprayed, and nothing was done to clean the bathroom vent. Due to our issues with the apartment, VRBO provided us with a credit amount and then suggested we request one from the Host (management company). The management company denied us any compensation. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR GUESTS!!!

We met the agent who showed us the apartment, and we were very disappointed. The pictures in the listing do not honestly depict this property. The open, clean, uncluttered foyer shown on website is not what we found when we arrived. We were overwhelmed by the smell of the stinky shoes and wet laundry. The other residents on the floor use the common entry as a continuation of their space, drying laundry, storing kids’ toys on the floor, keeping and half cleaned cookware on a shelf. The bedrooms were not as pictured, the showers were moldy. We discussed the condition of the apartment with the manager. He agreed that it was not, in his words “spotless,” but in his opinion, he felt it was “clean enough.” The apartment smelled of stale tobacco. The manager said that if the smell “was not better in a day or two, he could see if something could be done.” We were not going to stay there and hope for improvement.The listing does not mention the area. People were smoking pot on the sidewalk next to the building door. VRBO initially offered me a credit of 125, which I declined. VRBO said that was all they could offer because the host had already been paid.A day later VRBO upped the offer to 250. Again, that is not acceptable. I would like a refund of the full amount I was charged. VRBO said they could not offer a refund because, “only the host can approve a refund at this stage. they (the hist) indicated that processing compensation at this time is challenging. “
