Inside, the living area cleverly incorporates a double bed, separated by a modern partition wall that offers both openness and privacy. The upstairs bedroom features a single bed, tailored for peaceful nights. It’s a simple, cozy space for unwinding away from the main living area. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, making meal preparation easy whether you're popping in for a quick snack or preparing a meal from fresh, local ingredients found in the town's vibrant markets. The bathroom is streamlined and practical, equipped with amenities to start your day refreshed or wind down in the evening.

One of the highlights is the private terrace. Shielded from the intense Portuguese sun with a shade cloth, this space is your secluded nook for relaxing outdoors in the gentle breeze of the Algarve coast. This apartment is just a short walk from the energetic pulse of Olhão, with its rich history, stunning marina, and eclectic eateries.

## Neighborhood

Olhão is located next to Faro. It has a lovely and lively old centre with a rich history of traditional Portuguese culture. From here, you can easily explore both the east, west and inland Algarve but Olhão is perhaps most famous as the access point to the beautiful and peaceful islands of Armona and Culatra by ferry. There are public and private ferry options available.

Due to the central location, you will have lots of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from in the close vicinity of the apartment.

## Transit

You can quickly get around on foot or use public transport or a taxi/uber. A hire car is recommended if you want to explore the larger Algarve area. Parking in old town Olhão is accessible in most places, except along the waterfront. It can be challenging to find it. An extensive paid parking area at a nearby hotel is a good alternative for those uncomfortable navigating the old town streets.
