Spacious rooms with stunning views. Nice kitchen with Nespresso espresso machine. Large kitchen table where we ate meals and played cards. Radiators in all of the rooms kept us warm. The neighborhood was quiet but we did have transmitted sounds from the flat downstairs. We had a car for part of our stay which we parked immediately behind the property in a decent sized free lot. With the car we were easily able to get to Lugano & Mont Bre, Parco Valentino - Piani Resinelli, and found parking in Lecco when we went into town. The days we didn't have a car we stayed closer to the flat as it sits high on the hill and is a fairly steep climb. We did take the forest path to the Eurospin which was a nice walk. Of note, if you take an Uber (to the train station for instance) leave extra time as our driver had trouble getting to the property. He said the Uber map takes an unrealistic route and he had to figure out another way to get to the property. The Wi-Fi was somewhat inconsistent and we were glad to have a esim. The guest registration was a bit cumbersome and was released very close to the time for check in so that part of it we could do just before leaving home and some we had to do in the airport. There was a system error that caused some issues but it was resolved very quickly once I pointed it out. In general the communication was somewhat less than other properties we have stayed at but was sufficient for our needs. Enjoyed our stay!
