Real heritage

Felt at home straight away. Very welcoming and familiar. It gave the impression of being 'different'. Lovely and quiet at night. Hard to imagine a better location.

Compact property, very well equipped, designed and planned out for 2 . We were very comfortable here, close to shops, bus and train stations. Aptly named Duck down cottage as the beams in this old, listed building are low- not a problem for us as we are not tall people ( under 5ft 8!) We are booked in for next year !!

Duck Down Cottage

Lovely little cottage, perfectly formed for 2 people with a dog. Ideal position to get to all the shops, bars, restaurants and attractions in Whitby. Would definitely stay here again.

Very cute place in an ideal location would definitely recommend

It was very clean and cosy with everything needed to enjoy our holiday The low ceiling beams would be an issue for someone over 5,7 but due to us both being smaller humans this was not an issue

My wife and her friend stayed here for the week for respite. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The accommodation was excellent and amenities were all within a short walk. There was nothing to fault, it's a delightful little cottage

Lovely cottage in a great location.

Lovely cosy accommodation, very comfortable bed. Close to waterfront, shops, bars and cafes. Not really a negative - but need to be aware of low beams into bedroom and bathroom, ok for me at 5’5”, but partner had to ‘duck down’ (as cottage name implies) when entering bedroom and bathroom.

Lovely apartment everything was perfect hight for me (im short) amazing location! comfy sofa which was a massive bonus after walking all day. warm bedding. Ill definatly be back Window in bedroom was hard to open a dish washer would have been the icing on the cake
