Nearby, the charming village of Castleton is famous for its fascinating caves, including the Blue John Cavern and Peak Cavern, perfect for a day of exploration. Chatsworth House stands nearby where you can soak in the history inside the stately home and the gardens. Local towns include Buxton, Bakewell and Ashbourne, the closest being Buxton, offering restaurants, a local theatre known as the Opera House, a small cinema and many local shops.
