This was an amazing experience! A very comfortable studio house with all the amenities you need! The picture windows offered stunning views. The kitchen is large and we made our meals nearly everyday. The area is quiet, though the night stillness is occasionally broken up by the fun songs of coyotes. The heating/cooling worked great and kept us comfortable! The private deck is a great place to watch the sun rise and soak up some morning sun. Marylin and Wayne live at the main house and are very responsive and friendly. Super grateful I got a chance to stay at this peaceful and wonderful place. And not too far from town! Thanks so much for everything! We definitely are coming back!!! Marion Bandita*

Peaceful Getaway

We found this place perfect for some rest and relaxation. Very quiet and away from the noise and bustle of the city. Great views of the valley and the sunrise over the Rincon Mountains was a great way to start the day. Wayne and Marilyn were very gracious hosts. Would return in a second.

Beautiful view. I loved sitting on the patio reading and watching and listening to the birds with the mountain view. Great location. Spacious. Had everything we needed. Hosts were wonderful. We highly recommend this place!

Nature preserve on the NE edge of town

Gorgeous, well equipped, private casita with spacious shaded patio overlooking the Rincon Mountains. Serenaded in the evening by resident Great Horned Owls, and gently awakened by quail, and doves. Hosts live on site and were generous and attentive to our needs. Would return again and again.

The casita is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and has a nice patio to enjoy the scenery. The casita itself is very comfortable and had all supplies we needed. Wayne and Marilyn made sure we had everything and are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay there!

Wonderful base for exploring Mount Lemmon

Another great stay at the Casita

This is our second stay at the Casita and it was as enjoyable as the first. I like to bike and it is close to mt bike trails and safe road rides around Mt Lemon and Saguaro National Park. The hosts are great. Our favorite part of the property is the outside patio where we can grill and enjoy an adult beverage.

The Casita is everything and more than what is stated in the description. We used to live about 3 miles from this location. It was exactly what we needed - the beautiful sunrises, evening stars, sunsets - close to family, relaxing, quiet - and - I cannot think of anything we needed that wasn't provided. We loved the casita, wish we had stayed longer. 7 nights were not enough. Our hosts were friendly, even brought me a second bag of bird food when I ran low. We saw a couple birds we have never seen before. The bed was comfortable, having a kitchen let us cook.

Peace & Quiet

My wife and I were visiting our daughter at University of Arizona. We decided to go early so we booked this place for a little over a week. We were very happy with the location, the accommodations and its relative closeness to U of A. The Casita is situated on the hill and has good views of the mountains to the east. I brought my mountain bike and was able to ride right from the Casita up to and around Mount Lemmon. Wayne and Marilyn are very good hosts and this will be a regular stop on our journey to Tucson.

Late April in Casita Naranja

Place was exactly as described. Everything we needed (and then some) was right there. From early morning coffee while watching the sun rise to relaxing after a day of exploring the desert, this place was wonderful. Very comfortable even when the outside temperature was in the 90's. Quiet neighborhood, but close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. A short drive to all outdoor activities. Our hosts, Wayne and Marilyn were the best. Never intrusive, but always available. Wayne shared videos of bobcat cubs that grew up on the property. Definately a place I'd like to return to. Highly recommended.
