Runglee rests near Duns, Scottish Borders, sleeping six guests in three bedrooms.
Runglee consists of a dining room seating six, a kitchen with dining seating for four, Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, underfloor heating powered by ground source. TV with Fire Stick, Wi-Fi Electricity included in rent, linen and towels provided, luxury toiletries, enclosed wraparound gardens with lawns, patio area, furniture. Shop 5.6 miles, pub 1.9 miles, check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. The Property is situated within the ground of another house, sharing part of the driveway, which overlooks the other property and its garden. Parking for 3 cars only, please note there is no street parking. The garage is available on request, please let us know if you would like access. Campervans and other motorhomes aren’t permitted on the property. Camping isn’t permitted on the property. No EV charging point available or permitted from the property. This is a No smoking property. Guests must put the bins out and leave wheelie bin by the roadside on a Thursday evening. This property is not suitable for children under 12. All guests must be declared at the time of booking; any day guests or additional guests must be authorised by the owner in advance. The property sleeps a max of 6 guests, sleeping out with bedrooms is not permitted. Good housekeeping bond of 350 GBP. Please note that this property accepts check-ins and check-out days on Fridays, with a 7-day minimum restriction, other durations and check in days maybe be possible on request. Pets - we are happy to welcome 1 well behaved dog only. It must be always supervised, and never left along at the property. Dogs are not permitted in bedrooms or beyond the door to the bedroom hallway. All dog poo must be picked up and disposed of immediately.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
Town: The small border town of Duns is set in a wide valley known as The Merse and was once the capital of the Scottish Borders, when the current capital, Berwick-upon-Tweed, was under English rule. The town offers a good range of shops, including an award-winning butchers and quality delicatessen, pubs and restaurants, whilst the Jim Clark Museum is open to the public in honour of the famous racing driver who lived in the area. Duns Castle sits within a nature reserve with well-marked woodland lakeside walks through the castle estate. There are many castles and historic houses scattered throughout the surrounding area, including Manderston House (home of Lord Palmer), Floors Castle and Gardens, the largest inhabited house in Scotland, Norham Castle situated on the River Tweed, Mellerstain House and Paxton House and Country Park. A short drive to the east coast offers the opportunity to explore the dog friendly beaches at Coldingham or for the more adventurous why not learn to surf at the local surf school. Widely acclaimed golfing is available at Duns and nearby Dunbar whilst fishing for trout and salmon on the Tweed and Whiteadder River is also available with permits available locally. The nearby walled town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is well worth a visit with weekly markets, town trails and a cinema. A short hop to Eyemouth to feed the resident harbour seals, enjoy award-winning fish and chips or take a boat trip for some coastal exploration. The sights and excitement of Edinburgh are just 45 miles away and numerous other destinations are within a short driving distance of this fantastic location providing a great base at any time of the year for exploring the beautiful Scottish Border region and the picturesque, exhilarating North Northumberland regions.
