Villa Margaret is a splendid nineteenth-century three-story historical villa surrounded by the greenery. It sleeps nine people. From Villa Margaret you will enjoy a charming view of the garden and of the forest. Villa Margaret is 600 square meters (6460 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, private terraces, a private garden and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be approximately 900 meters (990 yards) from the center of Pontremoli, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 550 meters (600 yards), a grocery store at 800 meters (880 yards) and the bus stop at 400 meters (1300 feet). You will reach Villa Margaret from the parking area going up a route that includes approximately 19 stairway steps.
For a successful stay at Villa Margaret we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a parking space.

The main entrance of the villa is located on the first floor compared to the level of the park and the swimming pool, guaranteeing a dominant and panoramic position. A majestic stone staircase will guide you from the park to the large terrace where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Piagnaro Castle. The terrace is not only a perfect place to relax and admire the landscape, but it is also a central point of the villa, connecting the outdoor spaces with the interior of the house. Below the terrace, you will find an elegant porch with vaulted ceilings, which adds a touch of charm and character to the structure, and from here you will have direct access to the cellars and to the two half-baths.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 17 meters (56 feet) long, from 1.25 meter (4.1 feet) to 1.40 meters (4.6 feet) deep. It is filled with continuously flowing river water. The area is equipped with deck chairs, and it is partly shaded by century-old trees. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a lovely view of the greenery. The pool is open from mid-June until mid-September.
Garden
The garden is 2500 square meters (27000 square feet). It is partly shaded by century-old trees. The garden is equipped with wrought-iron benches, as well as with tables and chairs.

The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include a sofa and two armchairs. In this room you will find a television (local channels). The room has a large window.

You will be able to enter the third living room from the first living room or from the entrance hall. The floor is paved with ancient lava stone mosaic. The ceiling is vaulted and frescoed. The furnishings are elegant and refined, featuring some antique pieces, and include a sofa, armchairs and a desk. The room has two windows.
Dining Room 1
You will be able to enter the first dining room from the first living room through an access area. The floor is paved with ancient Venetian mosaic. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are classic, and include some antique pieces. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. There is an age-old fireplace, for decorative purposes only. You will be able to enter the kitchen from the second dining room through an access area. It is equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, a gas oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and a kettle. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. The two dining tables can accommodate six guests. The kitchen has four windows.
