Beautiful Cotswold Holiday Home - The Puzzle House

The Puzzle House is a cosy Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps four guests (no children aged seven or under permitted), in two spacious bedrooms, both with their own ensuites. There is a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the property, especially within the cosy sitting room with its plush soft furnishings, making it a true home from home. The tasteful interiors and thoughtful colour scheme continue into the generous kitchen, which effortlessly flows into the courtyard, a wonderful setting for an al fresco breakfast. The Puzzle House is tucked away in Moreton-in-Marsh, a characterful town full of boutique shops and eateries!

The Puzzle House can be booked either on its own, or with Highgate which sleeps four guests in the adjacent property.

Excellent cottage

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Cottage We had a fantastic stay at this lovely holiday cottage. It’s beautifully kept and set in a superb location, perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Helen, and her brother — both incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even shared the fascinating history of the site, which has transformed from an old toy shop into these charming holiday lets. Moreton-in-Marsh itself is a brilliant base, with plenty of excellent eateries, friendly local shops, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Absolutely Perfect!

The Puzzle House is absolutely stunning, everything was perfect, and the attention to detail was impressive, spotlessly clean and very well equipped in a perfect location, gated access with parking. Walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, we also met the owner Helen who is a lovely lady, we will be back !!

long weekend in the Cotswolds

Gated access to this delightful stone cottage with parking place. Warm as toast with a basket of goodies waiting for us in the kitchen. Everything you would need for cooking. Big fridge/freezer and easy to work oven etc. Cosy sitting room with big screen tele. Super big, comfy beds, en suite one having a bath as well as shower. Well placed in the village. Excellent Co-op straight over the main road( sells 'cook'), which is also adjacent to the rail station. All in all, 10 out of 10.

Lovely, cozy cottage

My sister and I had a great stay at the Puzzle House. It was located centrally and very close to the train station and directions from our hostel were very helpful. There are many lovely cafes and pubs on the Main Street as well as a small grocery store. The cottage was exceptionally clean, cosy and quiet. With a lovely welcome basket we were set for a few days and thoroughly recommend this place as a home away from home.

Weekend break with friends

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, from arrival safe in the gated car park, the house was warm and welcoming, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. Great base for visiting lots of places and moreton in marsh had lots to offer as well, pubs, coffee shops nice walks etc, We all had a great weekend and we’re very cosy in this lovely property Would definitely return

Wonderful week in the Puzzle House

Beautiful property both inside and outside, the provided parking space is a bonus as it’s a busy little village. The property is cozy warm, comfortable and very well appointed with all you could possibly need. Location is ideal as a base for exploring the Cotswolds and the village has a Coop, Tesco and Aldi all within walking distance. Finishing touches like milk in the fridge, section of biscuits and assortment of cereal provided by the owners all added to the experience. Final point is that although the property is on the edge of the high street it is very quiet when inside.

Birthday in the cotswolds

The puzzle house met all of our expectations for a clean, comfortable, quiet, quality cottage in a perfect location only 2mins from the high street in moreton , the parking spot was a bonus. A good position for touring with a railway station for travel further afield.

SIMPLY AMAZING

This is my third visit to this absolutely stunning property, this time we spent three wonderful days with two fantastic friends who also adored it as much as we do. Not only is the property glorious, the location is second to none with everything on your doorstep. Had delicious meals in Bellini's and Tikiri's, as well as visited Sudeley Castle, lovely walks around the town, to the arboretum and generally drank and ate too much.

A perfect stsy

The Puzzle House is exceptional. It provides everything you will need for a short stay in the heart of the Cotswolds. The welcome bundle is such a nice touch. Milk, cereal, tea, coffee and biscuits. Its location is ideal. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops. Secure cottage with an entrance gate, ideal for taking bikes. Will definitely stay here again.

I have no hesitation in recommending this property

My family and I spent a fantastic five days at the Puzzle House. The property is beautifully appointed and has everything you could possibly need. It is also extremely central - we travelled less than 30 minutes to get to all the places we visited. It is tucked right behind the high street at Morton, so convenient for all the shops, cafes and restaurants but really quiet and secluded. We met the owner, Helen, who was lovely. You can tell that she has put her heart and soul into this business and really wants her guests to have an enjoyable stay. We certainly did.

Fabulous!

We had a fantastic stay in The Puzzle House. Everything was perfect. Absolutely spotlessly clean - I've never stayed anywhere so clean. The house was stylish and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The attention to detail was brilliant - mirrors in the right places with sockets nearby. Plenty of storage in the bathrooms. These little touches make a place feel like home. They location was perfect for visiting all the lovely places in the Cotswolds. We were able to talk to Helen on the way out and she is such a lovely lady who is quite rightly very proud of her property. Thank you Helen for providing such a first class break for us and for the welcome pack!

What a Stunning Property

If you want a typical Cotswold Stay look no further than The Puzzle House an absolutely fantastic position right in the heart of Moreton in Marsh with excellent public transport links and off street parking. The facilities at Puzzle House were beyond expectations and all home comforts were thought of. During our stay my car broke down and I had to get it fixed. Our host Helen came to our rescue not only getting us in touch with a garage but help getting there and getting back. I can not praise her highly enough for her help and assistance. Cotswold Stays allowed me a late check up whilst I waited for my car to be fixed. I am trying to think of reason for a further visit to this property as we enjoyed ourselves so much

Perfect!

This is the cleanest and most beautiful holiday apartment I have ever rented! Absolutely everything was spotless, and the attention to detail is stunning. There is nothing you could possible need on a holiday that isn't here, and it was lovely. With regards to location it is directly connected to the High Street, although shielded from any noise. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit Moreton-in-Marsh!

Modern, clean cottage great location and attentive Host

Firstly I want to echo all the great comments left by previous guests. It was just the two of us but both bedrooms had high quality super king beds with first class mattresses Mrs H liked having her own bathroom and shower. There were lots of plug sockets every where many with type C and micro USB sockets. The gated car park entrance is 245cm wide at it's narrowest point and a large area to turn and park your car so you have no need to reverse your car out. We ate out every day in town and at a different eatery on each occasion our highlight being restaurant Henne, expensive but worth it. Many thanks Helen we have booked again for next year. Rob

Puzzle House was superb

This was an immaculate accommodation with a convenient and very secure location close to the railway station. It had a nice courtyard that provided secure storage for our bicycles. It had everything needed for an enjoyable stay.

Wonderful weeklong stay at the Puzzle House

My wife and I spent a magical week in Moreton at this lovely property. We loved the large spaces, wonderful kitchen (modern appliances, ample/nice kitchenware, good Nespresso machine) and dining area, the half bath downstairs, comfortable beds with good mattresses, location just off the High Street but insulated from most of the traffic noise, access via a security gate and solid front door made us feel very secure, only a ten minute walk from both train station and main bus station, the best COOP grocery store we’ve encountered across the street. The walk to Batsford Arboretum/Batsford Village and then on to Blockley was world class, and starts just behind the house. We loved it so much we’ve booked for two weeks next year. Helen was a very responsive and helpful host. Highly recommend.
