Karen, We are sorry to hear you were not fully satisfied with your experience in one of our properties and our management. However, the experience you describe is not characteristic of the level of service our company strive to provide. First of all, we would like to clarify the incident with the door code which it could have been easily resolved if you would have given a call to our emergency line since our customer service is always willing to look into any issues you may encounter. Also, you could have called Homeaway/VRBO customer service or sent us an message thorugh the app in order to assist you immediately. Nevertheless, none of these suggestions were made. Multiple attempts to enter a wrong code can cause a block or even a malfunction of the lock door for several minutes. For this reason, there is a lock-box provided next to the main door in case of any emergency. In addition, the code for the BBQ was provided to you via email. Regarding the quality of the furniture in the house, our goal is to provide our clients a premium line that satisfies their expectations. In conclusion, we take these matters very seriously and we cannot accept a review of this category because it does not truly represent the service we offer. Dear Tabitha, we are really disappointed of how you see your experience with us in one of our properties. Unfortunately, we cannot accept this kind of review where our services are not well appreciated and from someone that is attempting to destroy our reputation. In regard to your review, here we send clarifications of the situations reported above. Our line of business requires a high level of hygienic treatments. Everyone who works with hospitality knows that bed bugs is an extremely case that can affect the public health and also ruin their businesses. For that reason, we work with one of the largest and prestigious pest control companies in Florida which is Massey Pest Control. They do regularly the treatment of all of our properties to maintain our houses free of any kind of plague. Consequently, all of our bedrooms have completely clean and comfortable mattresses as well as the linens and bathroom rugs we provide. They are checked every check-out by our cleaning and maintenance departments and if it is necessary a replacement we will provide a new one. However, that was not the case since they were checked and they were not addressed prior or after your arrival as well as your check-out date. We care about our customers; therefore, we are extremely particular with the cleanliness of our houses and replace of the damage or missing items. As a result, our team always make sure to provide enough towels for the quantity of guests and bedrooms in the house. Yet, if the guests need extra towels they are also located inside the house. In case they are not found in the house and it is requested by the guest, we provide them for their stay. Regard to the phone calls, we proactively returned all of your calls, and we tried to provide you with the best solution. As soon as you reported the issue, our maintenance department was informed of the situation, you have locked the keypad. While you were on the phone with one of our agents, you were given some basic instructions to close the door. The result of locking the keypad made yourself not able to close the door properly. Due to the situation, we immediately contacted one of our team members to go help you out in the property even though our main office location is not inside the resort. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you and your group. For our future guests, we would like to invite to take a look at the other reviews on other platforms.
