Porch Light Hospitality presenta The Barn. Construido en 1933, The Barn se ha utilizado de muchas maneras a lo largo de los años para albergar animales de granja, equipos y vehículos. Remodelado en 2013, The Barn conserva el encanto rústico de su uso original con madera recuperada utilizada en puertas y techos hechos a mano. Además, un conjunto de puertas de granero originales sirve como cabecera del dormitorio principal. Con un loft, el granero tiene capacidad para cuatro (1 cama king, 1 Queen). El área al aire libre cuenta con un patio privado con bañera de hidromasaje, ducha al aire libre, pozo de fuego y televisión. Venga a disfrutar de la acogedora sensación de granero con el confort moderno de hoy. Será un recuerdo que siempre atesorarás.

Beautiful property in a great location

We loved the property, which had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The location was super close to Main Street. Would definitely stay there again.

Very well kept! Perfect location! It was definitely worth the stay!

It was a great experience for me and my spouse! It was our honeymoon, and it was worth the stay! Perfect location! Close to the shops and restaurants but far enough to not hear any of the noises.

Anniversary Getaway to Fredericksburg

Anniversary trip

Wonderful home. Beautifully designed and comfortable. Patio was lovely and enjoyed the outdoor tv in the cooler weather. Defintley will be back.

Lovely stay

Got away for the night for my 10 year anniversary and had a lovely time. Couldnt hear any of the other guests from the other houses. The house is lovely and beautifully done and comfortable. Bed was SUPER comfy. Be careful using the hot tub during the summer- the water does not protect you from those Texas summer mosquitos!

Pretty nice

The house is very cute and cozy. Jacuzzi tub is nice. My only complaints would be that the furniture overall is pretty uncomfortable, including the bed which could use an update. The courtyard is very nice and we enjoyed the hot tub, but be aware that while it is fenced off, the fence is pretty see-through so not super private. The location is great and the property is nice.

Quick Getaway

This place is so well laid out and designed! We stayed at the barn but would love to check out the other guest houses. Everything worked well and the staff was super friendly and responsive. The location was perfect because it was close to downtown without being in the middle of the craziness. The bed was super comfortable and the hot tub was amazing!

Amazing Comfort and Attention to Detail

We felt right at home with all the little touches that The Barn provided. Amazing local coffee, comfy robes, and the most dreamy, high-quality bedding were such a treat! I was impressed by how spacious the unit was. The pictures really don't do it justice. There are really nice finishes on the fixtures, a nice array of lighting options (recessed, lots of lamps, night lights, under cabinet, etc.), and really impressive fans and air conditioning. There were plenty of dishes silverware, a steak knife, cutting board, wine opener and most importantly-- wine glasses. One thing to note is that there are decorative lights around the perimeter of the roof outside. The bedroom curtains allow a decent amount of light in, so if you're used to sleeping in the dark, you may want to bring an eye mask to sleep in. These lights do shut off (maybe around midnight) at which point, it's perfectly dark in the bedroom. I really appreciated the responsiveness of the hosts. They sent a note after check-in, and left several reminders of how to contact them if any issues arose. We had a question about the fireplace, and got a response within three minutes. Truly, truly cannot wait to return to The Barn or one of their other units on the property!

Lovely!

We came here for our honeymoon, after our original plan of going to Canada fell through due to COVID-19. This little cabin was perfect - the king bed was amazingly comfortable and the area around the cabin was quiet. The bathtub and shower are awesome! We loved the private patio, but I think we discovered that we aren't hot tub people as we couldn't seem to get the temperature down to a bearable level for us. This didn't keep us from enjoying the rest of the patio amenities, however! It was only a short distance (maybe 5-10 min) to the rest of Fredericksburg and we kind of enjoyed not being in the middle of things. Overall, a much-needed and very restful stay.

Great getaway!

We were in Fredericksburg for our wedding and The Barn was a perfect place to stay! The bed was comfortable and the small private patio with the hot tub was a great way to end each day.

Cute little property!

My girlfriend and I recently booked this property for a girls trip in the wine country. We love the rental! It was very clean and organized. The hot tub was amazing!! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great getaway!

The Barn

We stayed at the Barn for 2 nights and it was beautiful and so close to the strip, we had an amazing time and enjoyed our romantic getaway and look forward to coming back with a larger group (and maybe the kids lol) soon!

No TV

Unfortunately the den TV did not work at all so we were unable to use the for usage of the house like we want it to. If we just want it a hotel room we could’ve learned that in town we wanted the whole experience of being in a little cottage like a home to be able to use it as such and we were just restricted to a bedroom due to TV outages. We were very disappointed it’s such a beautiful little cottage but yet was unable to utilize it.
