Your stay in Rome in the heart of the most famous neighborhood: Trastevere.
A charming, comfortable, and quiet apartment in that corner of the neighborhood that has preserved its authenticity intact, even though it’s very close to the major tourist attractions.
I lived in this apartment for about two years and have equipped it with all the amenities and comforts.
I fell in love with it when I discovered the huge terrace available to all residents—as long as they follow a few simple rules—where you can enjoy an aperitif, take a moment to relax, organize a romantic dinner, or even do yoga, exercise, and sunbathe.
Another thing that made me love it even more—since I’m a movie buff—was discovering that some scenes from Vittorio De Sica’s film *Bicycle Thieves* were shot in this building. I rewatched the film, and
I was thrilled to recognize the front door, the entrance hall, and the stairwell.
The apartment is located on the second floor of a 1920s building with a balustrade.
There is no elevator.
It consists of two rooms: an entryway and a bathroom.
It has two very large south-facing windows and one north-facing window overlooking the balustrade that surrounds the entire floor.
It features a living room with a comfortable sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchenette, as well as a spacious double bedroom with a built-in closet.
The bathroom is tastefully finished and has a window.
The entire floor is covered in exquisite hardwood parquet.
Use of the building’s shared terrace is unrestricted during the day; if you’d like to use the table and chairs for dinner, simply post a notice in the building’s entrance hall the day before.
