During the peak summer months it can be genuinely difficult to get the correct parts delivered in time, particularly for brand-specific locking mechanisms. Many suppliers run reduced staffing over the holiday period while demand is at its highest, which creates delays we cannot always shorten. We ordered the part immediately and carried out the repair as soon as it reached us. On the security concern itself, the terrace faces the ocean and sits in a position that is not readily accessible from the outside. Reaching it would require a deliberate climb. That said, we fully understand that an unlockable door is not a comfortable thing to live with, which is exactly why we pushed to have it resolved as quickly as we could, and we are glad it was completed during your stay.
