The Winking Turtle es un nuevo alquiler que tiene que ver con la ubicación, ubicación, ubicación ~ Proximidad a los restaurantes de Rosemary Beach, las tiendas Seacrest y la belleza de Alys Beach con tarifas de alquiler razonables. El acceso público a la playa es muy conveniente y tiene mucho estacionamiento, baños y duchas. Se proporciona un vagón para ayudar a transportar sillas, sombrillas y toallas, etc., si decide caminar a la playa. La playa no está abarrotada como muchas de las áreas más pobladas, como el área de Seacrest Inn o Seaside. Mucho espacio para extenderse y disfrutar de las playas de arena blanca que hacen de 30A el lugar perfecto para vacacionar.

Wonderful property

The house is beautiful well furnished location is great very short walk to the beach. The owner is so wonderful. She was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Highly recommend this property.

Great experience

The house was very clean, and in a good location! My group likes to walk so we didn’t mind the walks to rosemary beach and surrounding areas. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, but at night/in the dark it was a bit scary walking across the highway. The road noise was a bit to get adjusted to in the master bedroom but after turning on the sound machine, I slept great. Overall, this was a great stay! My entire group said they would love to stay again and the location was great!

The property was in a great location for beach access and restaurants without having to drive to either. The house was very clean and the communication with the property manager was professional and timely.

Perfect stay

We visited to celebrate my wife and I 20th anniversary as well as our oldest daughter graduating high school. This was the perfect setup to accomplish both. Diane was super responsive and easy to work with. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great place for the price

Great home for my family. Roomy and clean. My teens loved riding their bikes up and down 30A, but it was a little nerve wracking for me as a Mom with the kids crossing 98 to get to 30A. That was the only negative to the location. BUT once the underground tunnel is built it should solve this problem. Also, road noise from the master bedroom was certainly noticeable. I slept with the bathroom fan on and it was no problem for me. Otherwise, all good.

Winking Turtle is in close proximity to public beach access.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The property was accommodating for our family. The master bedroom does face HWY 98, road noise was somewhat bothersome, used loud sound machine to drown out noise. Diane was extremely prompt in her response and helpful. The beach was beautiful and clean!

Great location

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Check in was very easy and even with some issues we had(no fault of the property or owners, weather related) everything was solved quickly which we appreciated! Parking is pretty tight so I’d suggest not trying to park more than 2 mid size cars. We had a mid sized SUV and a car and it fit. As for the neighbor, and this was made clear by the property manager and the reviews, they really take things to the extreme with the dog whistle alarm we could hear while not even stepping on their property?? It was honestly ridiculous, but we abided by the advice we received and did not even try to walk the dogs anywhere near his house. Overall the property was great and was in a good location for what we needed. Beach access is right across the street which is super convenient, and Rosemary beach is only about a .9 mile walk. Thanks again for having us!

Not ideal.

This was not what we had in mind when we booked. The location was way outside of the Seacrest area. You have to cross a four lane major road with no light or cross walk to get to the beach access road. Or you can walk 1/2 mile to the next red light and then back 1/2 mile to get to the beach access road. If you have a family this is far from ideal. There is no beach access to seacrest. There is no community pool, No amenities. No beach towels. There is no backyard or anyplace to go outside the house. The back porch is an old wooden deck that is filthy and backs up to the main road with all the cars flying by. The road was very very busy. Lots of motorcycles, trucks, loud mufflers all the time. The neighbors had an alarm on their property line and if you get within 10’ it sets off a high pitch noise. The outside of the house is dark and feels unsafe. There are zero lights outside on the house and there are no street lights. Owner was responsive and offered $50 back because we had sand in one of the bunk beds. Nice people but would never stay here again.

Great location for family beach vacation

The property was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and everything was as pictured. The location was perfect—a six to seven minute walk to the beach. We were worried about crossing the busy highway, but it’s divided and has clearly marked sidewalks which made it easy. Walking distance to restaurants and shops as well. Highly recommend it!

Nice house

The house is very clean and was just as described. The noise from 98 really bothered me- but I’m a light sleeper. No one else in my family heard it. The neighborhood was nice. It was a great house for a quick visit to 30A.

Great cozy Beach Cottage!

The house is very nice and laid-out well. Even though it is near Hwy 98 (bringing this up bc it was mentionedin some reviews), there is a pedestrian crosswalk to the beach and the noise is minimal and was white noise to me. The owners were quick to respond when we had a question. We had a nice experience and would come back.

Inlet beach with great hosts

Our family has been vacationing on the Florida Coast for over 20 years. We come down to visit friends that make 30A their full time home. They purchased several cottages over the years and while staying in them, we too fell in love with the area and all it has to offer. We just took the plunge to purchase this cottage to enjoy ourselves and to share with our guests when theye need to get away from the real world.

We chose this property based on the location. So close to Rosemary Beach and everything it has to offer, but not the high price tag or traffic. We also are encouraged by the amount of growth in the 30Avenue area of Inlet Beach. We are confident that soon this will be an extension of 30A with the same beauty and lifestyle.

Beach access is ideal for either walking, biking or packing the car up with everything and everyone to taking advantage of the public parking, restrooms and showers.
The experienced property managers live 10 minutes from the property year round so response time to any issues is quick, unlike rental management companies with normal business hours.
