Located right next to one of Sweden's best beaches, we've built this house in the traditional Swedish style, yet with a modern feel.
There’s a large private garden with a hot tub that seats 9 people, a kids’ treehouse, a large patio with heaters, outdoor table tennis, sun loungers, a large private parking area, bicycles, toys, and swings. Depending on the season, you’ll find wild strawberries, plums, apples, rhubarb, and herbs. There’s an outdoor fridge on the patio, an outdoor “fireball,” and a Weber grill.
The beach is just a one-minute walk away, and we have a small beach house there (tiny).
The garage is currently being renovated and is not available, but there is plenty of space to park in the driveway.
Inside, there’s a fireplace downstairs, a wine fridge and built-in ice maker, a large aquarium, a large 4K TV, a PlayStation 5, Bose speakers, and a Sonos music system. The Wi-Fi is 1GB/s
What you’ll love about this neighborhood
Although a popular vacation destination, our surroundings are quiet, and our house is on a cul-de-sac leading to the beach, making it safe for kids to play.
Plenty of restaurants, bakeries, and shops are within cycling distance, as are three of the best links golf courses in Europe and the Falsterbo Horse Show (July).
A half-hour drive across the bridge takes you to beautiful Copenhagen (and Copenhagen Airport). On the Swedish side of the bridge is the city of Malmö and the huge Emporia shopping mall.
There is a Viking village/museum (Foteviken) and an amber museum nearby. In the summer, there is a clay tennis court nearby, and we have a one-hour slot at 7:00 p.m. on Sundays. Rackets and balls are available. A padel court is nearby. A beach volleyball net is set up on the beach. A portable charcoal grill is available.
The small old harbor in Skanör is picturesque and features several restaurants and the Badhytten nightclub. In Höllviken, there’s the Strandtugg restaurant on the beach (you can bike or walk there), a small shopping mall, and a pretty good movie theater.
Since the Swedish currency has fallen sharply in recent years, Sweden is now a relatively inexpensive destination
