Lovely cottage in a great location

Saltwater cottage has been very well modernised and tastefully furnished and provides all round excellent accommodation. It is situated in a great location near to shops restaurants and the beach but is at the same time quiet and peaceful. Would definitely visit again.

October stay

Perfect location for the lovely town of Deal. Well equipped, spotlessly clean and well equipped. I would have no hesitation in booking this house or using Keepers cottages again.

Salt water cottage

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay what a beautiful cottage. Everything you could wish for , comfy bed , fabulous bathroom , loved the Jack and Jill loo upstairs. The kitchen downstairs with French doors looking out on to the courtyard, enjoying our breakfast each morning. Great location, stones throw from the sea, coffee houses and trendy shops, a real village feel. We have rented a few times with Keppers Cottages and they never disappoint. We will definitely return.

Loved our stay. Great place, super clean! Keepers are always amazing managing it all. Boiler very noisy only downside.

Perfect Cottage for a Romantic Getaway!

We loved staying in Saltwater cottage - it is so perfect, well equipped and comfortable, and so tastefully decorated! Very cosy too - when the weather turned, we enjoyed using the log burner and on the sunny days we used the BBQ and enjoyed the little garden. The beds are super comfortable with very good quality linens. Slept like a dream! We would love to return!

​Great stay, spotless, stylish, and peaceful. Host was responsive. A bit overpriced in my opinion.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The host was responsive, check-in was seamless, and they even left thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The location was perfect too, close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. We didn’t use the BBQ during our stay, as it was left a bit dirty. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. All great but a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Saltwater cottage Deal

Great location and very quiet street. The beach and high street are literally a couple of minutes walk it either direction. The cottage is well equipped to a high standard and well furnished. The courtyard garden is very pretty and private. The downstairs kitchen diner, lounge are looks out onto the courtyard and is accessible by French doors. The only issue for some people would be the steep stairs which are typical of this kind of cottage. We ate at number 81, the Deal Pier Kitchen and had coffee & cake at Hope & Lane which were all excellent. We walked along the seafront to Walter castle & gardens which were well worth a visit. Took the train to Whitstable which was very busy with tourists and traffic, and found it a little disappointing ( maybe it was because it was so hot on that day) everything just seemed like hard work. We did eat at number 1 which was fine.

DELIGHTFUL COTTAGE, PERFECT LOCATION

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saltwater Cottage. The kitchen was so well equipped - quite rare in a rental, i.e. sharp knives and every appliance you could possibly want! The cottage was extremely comfortable. I was staying there with my daughter so we had plenty of space. The ground floor sitting room was perfect for us, maybe quite small if 4 adults staying. However the kitchen area and dining space in the basement were very spacious. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A fabulous home from home in central Deal

Saltwater Cottage is situated in the very atmospheric and historical streets of Deal. A hop and a skip from the High Street, with gorgeous indie shops and a thriving Saturday market, we fell in love with the town and this wonderful, stylish, and immaculate cottage. On 3 levels, the stairs are steep but the character is all there with the beautiful furnishings and artworks. The bedrooms are super comfortable, the bathroom is huge with a gorgeous freestanding bath and lush toiletries for guests to use, and the kitchen diner downstairs is a great place to hang out. The quality of everything was astounding. We absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. The only “please be aware” issue we had was that we arrived in the dark and spent ages trying to find the keysafe, which wasn’t by the door as stated, but down near ground level under a window. We almost missed it in the gloom, and then found it awkward to get the key out because it was difficult to see the numbers and manipulate the catch whilst having to crouch down low. It wasn’t much easier in daylight either!

A perfect seaside getaway.

One of the Best Cottages We've Stayed In! We absolutely loved our stay at Saltwater Cottage in Deal – it truly stands out as one of the nicest holiday cottages we've ever experienced. The location is unbeatable, just a stone’s throw from the beach, making morning strolls and daily swims a daily luxury, Deal itself is full of charm, with independent shops, lovely restaurants, and a relaxed atmosphere that instantly makes you feel on holiday. The cottage was immaculately clean, and every detail has clearly been thought through with care. The interior decor is beautiful, featuring tasteful artwork and stylish finishing touches that make it feel both cosy and refined. The kitchen and bathroom were amazing – modern, pristine and stocked with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with high-quality linen that made for a perfect night’s sleep. The bbq and courtyard garden were amazing too! We honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Saltwater Cottage is a real gem, and we couldn’t recommend it enough! Thank you.

Beautiful house

We loved the house in Deal. Beautifully decorated. Felt like we were in someone’s home . Lots of lovely details . Charming courtyard with lots of pots and still in flower. There are lots of stairs which we found ok but may be a little much for some. It’s right in the centre so everything in walking distance.

Beautiful cottage

We felt so lucky to have found Saltwater Cottage. It worked perfectly for the 2 of us. It was great to be so central and so near to the seafront yet the street was quiet at night.The cottage was well arranged over the 3 floors and had everything we could possibly need including a well equipped kitchen. It’s true the stairs are steep and narrow but it was worth the effort! The decor and all the finishes were superb, with many indoor plants and lots of interesting art work and objects. The courtyard garden was bigger than most in the area and was beautifully planted with tubs and pots of flowers and shrubs thanks to the automatic watering system. We had lots of walks along the front including walking to Walmer Castle (further than I remembered !) On other days we took a train to Sandwich which is quaint, and drove to Whitstable, Herne Bay and Broadstairs. The only tiny thing I would change is to have the option of having summer weight duvets or simple cotton quilts as we found the current ones too hot, even though the heatwave had passed. Other than that Saltwater Cottage is superb.
