Walking distance to Clubhouse

The house satisfied our needs however it needs a thorough cleaning and updating. When we checked in we looked at all the rooms and noticed that the upstairs Master suite had burn marks in the carpet and around all baseboards and vents there was a collection of thick dust. The kitchen faucet was loose we tried to tighten it but it did seem to help. There was also crayon marks on the walls in the living room and outside wall as well. It doesn’t come with a grill. When you book they will send you a link to a company that you can rent one however I called and they told me that they were no longer in business. So on the bright side this house is literally right next to the Club House it was great not having to drive over.

Just don’t.

Find another house. This one was pretty bad. The drain flies /ants were probably the worst of the problems, and they were crawling and dropping everywhere. In the toilet. In the shower. In the floors ( mostly by windows/back door/ bathroom/pool.) Yes I called, and sent an email with pictures of the pool too as who wants to swim with a layer of dead bugs floating on top and piles in the corners at the bottom of the pool. After sending a follow up request email, I was told that the exterminator was contacted and the pool company sent their response via a report of how it was already serviced, and all chemical numbers were good. Also that the managing company couldn’t ask the pool people to return. Fortunately I contacted the pool company myself and sent the pictures, as well as challenged the report sent as we arrived here 2 hours after said servicing and pool was already (?). Needless to say, they returned the day after I sent that. The exterminator did as well. Unfortunately the relief was short lived. I also got spray for the outside but gave up after a while. I simply learned to swim with the dead bugs. For $3200+ I had to simply suck it up. The house also lacked in supplies. The kitchen trash can was a small bathroom can. No baking pan if you wanted to make frozen French fries or the like. Normally I treat the house as my own and leave it as clean as I found it. This time, I wasn’t so motivated. I simply got tired of sweeping up the bugs. Tired neglected house.

Girls getaway

The property is very roomy and as described. The location is great! Steps away from the Oasis clubhouse that has two pools, lazy river, bars, etc. beautiful neighborhood!

Pleasant stay

This property was lovely! It had the best equipped kitchen of any place I have ever stayed. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, the pool was a great size, and there was plenty of space for my guests to spread out and relax.

Bad first impressions

From the beginning of the check in process, our first impressions were not great. We had to wait in line about 45 minutes to just get to the gate for check in. They do only 1 car at a time to check in at the gate. The lady doing the check ins was also having to talk to people who were trying to get through the returning side but had not already checked in. They needed at least 2 people running the check in at the security gate. Then when we arrived to the house, the previous guests’ garbage had not been removed. I understand trash pick up is in the morning, but walking up to a house with someone else’s garbage at the front door, especially during covid times, does not leave a good first impression. Plus there were mints scattered all around the front walk up, which were never cleaned I like to wash all dishes in the dishwasher when I first arrive. When we went to wash dishes, we could not find plates and bowls. The dishwasher had mildew mold on the trays. We decided to not use the dishwasher, which didn’t matter much since we couldn’t find the plates. Towards the end of the stay, we found plates and bowls in the cabinet ABOVE the refrigerator even though there were plenty of empty cabinet spaces at normal reach. The toaster and blender were on top of the cabinets, which could be reached only by standing on a chair. It was as if management did not want us to use any items in the kitchen. There were TVs in each room, but only the bedroom downstairs and living room had cable boxes. We later found a bag of remotes, cables boxes and cords in the laundry room. We had to connect to be able to watch TV. The resort pool does not allow any outside food or drinks, including water or snacks. Prices were not too bad, but not reasonable if spending a day at the pool. We were told they’d loose their license if they allowed outside food in. The confirmation email came from one account, but further communication came from a different email account and several emails were missed. The listing says a heated pool, but did not reference a charge. So we missed out on having our pool heated since we did not read the email about having to have it heated prior to arrival, or would be charged an additional charge. I will not stay at this community again. The resort pool was very neat, but the children’s splash pad had freezing cold water. The kids could not play. Communication with management via VRBO And email did not give us results.

Great experience

The house was clean and nicely decorated. The pool heat was on as requested. The location was perfect, nice and close to the club house, yet still had privacy out back with lots of beautiful trees and bushes. We were so sad to have to cut our trip short due to concerns with COVID-19, but the few days we were there were perfect and we will be coming again!

Filthy and upsetting

I have been staying at 1401 moon valley drive for the past 2 weeks in readiness to leave tomorrow morning. I would just like to advise you on how disappointed I have been with the cleanliness of the villa on our arrival, and how tired the internal decorations are compared with the pictorial views given on the HomeAway website. This vacation was my daughters wedding and me and My family have had to clean floors with a mop that was not even fit for the bin (I had to purchase a new mop) as the floors were disgusting, the vacuum cleaner did not work and several items, ie kitchen doors and bedroom furniture has had handles missing or unfixed, again this is something I had to repair to open them The patio door blinds were partially missing and found in a box in the garage, again I fixed and rehung. The standard of the house clean requires a thorough investigation as no form of dusting has been undertaken in all rooms on all the light fixtures or venting grills, the furniture has never been moved to clean the floors underneath as we have found unsightly objects including numerous large toe nail clippings lying within the lounge area. The dishwasher was left with a disgusting black mould and filth within, the sink was also blocked with the rubber plug ring removed from the plug. Several items of furniture has had unsightly marks including all the patio lounge furniture and numerous wall markings. No Welcome pack provided, and the refuse collection was irregular. I have stayed in some beautiful villas throughout the world during my vacation times especially in Florida and have found this Villa to be to most unpleasant stay of all my previous visits. Not to be fully negative the size of the villa worked very well with our requirements for space and the WiFi was excellent, but I would defiantly not recommend this establishment until adequate modernisation has been undertaken. I hope this feedback may assist in making potentially future holidaymakers a more pleasant stay than we were faced with. I have sent this comment to the management company and received no response

Disney 2019

While the whole property was great for our family there were issues that needed to be addressed. The bannister on the stairs was loose from the walls which posed quite a danger to children. The cleanliness of the house could be addressed better. The cold air intake was almost black with dust or mold not sure. The light fixtures were covered in dust and the windows and patio door looked as if the glass had not been cleaned in awhile. The patio area had weeds growing between the pavers the tables looked as though they had not been cleaned in awhile as well as the chair cushions outside were either moldy or covered in algae. I’m sure this is not all the fault of the owner but of the services they hire to maintain the property. Also no one came to clean the pool the two weeks were there. As I said the property was perfect for our family of 10 but we did have to spend some time cleaning as soon as we arrived not a great start to our vacation. Also I did try to contact the managers but spent About 20-30 min listening to the phone ring. Was never able to get ahold of anyone to report the railing or the broken lampshade in the living room. Overall like I said the property was great for our family would I stay there again I’m not sure.
