Lovely Stay

The villa is spacious and the pool was very clean and nice. Spent most of the time there. The town was 15minute walk away with some nice cafes. Also we got the train to Palermo for €3.30 which was great.

Very comfortable house

Lovely spacious villa

Stayed here as 2 couples. The villa is spacious and remained cool inside despite the heat outside. Great pool and outside area too. Walking distance to the small town centre with bars and restaurants. The beach nearby is rocky but sandy beaches are not far away. Walter met us on check in and was helpful throughout our stay.

Fantastic vacation

On a 1-10 scale this place is fantastic. Big house with a nice pool with the beach and small town within. Only small problem is disposing of garbage. But that is nothing that you can’t get over.

Thank you for your nice review Kailesh! But I am sorry if recycling was a problem for you. It is mandatory to recycle the garbage here (like everywhere I think), so it is necessary to follow the simple guidelines that are clearly shown at the arrival by the owners.

Review of Our Stay at the Villa in Isola delle Femmine

We had an amazing stay at the villa in Isola delle Femmine! The location was perfect—not only was it just a short walk to the beach with stunning views, but it also served as an excellent base for exploring the local area, including nearby Palermo. The villa itself was beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the outdoor terrace, where we enjoyed our meals while soaking in the sun. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The nearby village offered charming shops and delicious seafood options. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway with plenty of opportunities for adventure.

Great House

Great house with direct proximity to the beach. Everything as described. Great restaurants within walking distance. Super pool, our children had a lot of fun. The landlord helps at any time if you have problems. We needed a pediatrician for our little son and he immediately got us an ek en who came to our house. Lovely villa in a great location

Our stay was great, very easy to contact host and he was very helpful. Villa and pool were perfect and the beach (with sand) was about a 15-20 minute walk (the rocks are closer). Great restaurant and cocktail bar 5 minutes walk away. The town had lots of nice restaurants, and again was walkable. We caught the train to Palermo which was easy. Highly recommend. Bathroom showers could be upgraded as they were old and leaked some water on floor but nothing major to worry about when everything else was so great. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Nice villa with 4 double rooms

Property is clean with good air conditioning. Nice bedrooms and lounge. Kitchen is a little small and lacks a few decent sized pans but if you want to eat out a fair bit its not a problem. No dishwasher! Location is very good for sandy beaches (5 mins by car) and you can get a train into palermo. Hours drive to cefalu or the south coast if you want to branch out and about. Swimming pool is smallish but fine for cooling off.

Lovely Villa!

We stayed in the villa for 16 days at the end of May 2024. The Villa was lovely and clean when we got there, the check in process was very easy. The Villa itself was great, we had 4 adults and 4 children and it was plenty big enough for us all. It has a smart tv in a nice big living room which was a nice central part of the villa and crucial for the young children. The kitchen has everything you need. Outside there’s lots of nice areas to chill out, sunbathe or play games. The pool area is decent and gets the sun all day long. There’s a lovely balcony on the first floor where you can see the sunset every evening. Overall a great villa!

Lovely stay

We had a very enjoyable week in Isola delle Femmine. The villa was very comfortable for 5 adults and benefited from 3 bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen with coffee pod machine. We enjoyed sitting around the pool, and even managed a few swims which were cold as to be expected in March! Easy walking distance into town, for restaurants, coffee bars and ice cream. There is also a well stocked grocery store. If I had to find a negative it would be that the bathrooms could probably do with updating. One of the showers is very small, but functional. Oh and a few more sunbeds would be good. All in all, a very enjoyable week with perfect hosts.

Stay in early May.

Excellent property for a large group. The facilities are good although the Nespresso coffee machine cannot be used because the seals have worn and leak badly. The rooms are very large and airy and the general standard of the furniture etc are good. The 3 bathrooms are well equipped. Our 3 year old very much enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. The pool is good although the decking can result in splinters especially for children. The area is well catered for for shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend the Godiva restaurant down at the port. The food and general décor is close to fine dining. Some of the town and the seafront across the bay is a bit run down but that appears to apply generally to Sicily. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Gated two story home across from the sea.

This is a spacious home with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that is surround by a security fence which blocks the views of the sea from the first floor but from the 2nd floor balcony they are pretty amazing. There is one bedroom and bathroom with a shower downstairs and 3 bedrooms and 2 more bathrooms upstairs. One of the bathrooms has a large corner tub. We did not use this bathroom as it had a bad sewer smell that got worse each day so we shut the door and did not use. Two of the bedrooms upstairs have doors that open up onto a balcony and then there is a spiral stair case the goes up to a roof top. We did not use the balcony because there were no chairs to sit and enjoy the views. All of the bedrooms were spacious had a queen bed and all had very firm mattress and flat hard lumpy pillows (not the most comfy) the kitchen was well equiped and we enjoyed a few home cooked meals. The living room had a large smart tv that were able to stream Netflix on and relax after a long day of exploring Sicily. We had an ant pro lem in the kitchen our first morning and the host quickly responded and brought some spray to kill them. This property is walkable to the sea and beach club(which was closed during our stay) but not walkable to the small town nearby du to the narrow roads and lack of sidewalk. We did not get a chance to use the above ground pool but it looked very nice and well maintained. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would probably stay somewhere else if we returned.to Sicily.

Dear Guest, I am really surprised to read that "This property is not walkable to the small town nearby" since the centre of the town is not farer than 5 minutes by walking! I really don't know where you walked along ... but I am sorry you could not find the right way that is very easy to find. The pool was ready for you but the weather wasn't the best one.

Disappointing

Upon checkin, the host did not speak good English, he rushed us through the house and didn't tell us that we had to press a button a little way away from the gate to exit the property. We had a lot of problems getting into the gate with the key card. The response from the host a bit condesending, he did respond but was questioning me when I told him the card didn't work. He told me in the 5 years he never had a problem. My 80 year old mother, and my sister was standing out in the cold, one time our driver got out and helped and it took awhile for the gate to open. The property overall did not look like what was pictured. The deck online looked vibrant and modern, the outside seating area also and this was not the case. The other frustration was no housekeeping for 14 days unless we paid extra for it and asking us to take the trash out. He sent us instructions in Italian (even thought the online description stated that they spoke English) He then text me the trash instruction stated almost everyday we were expected to place the trash out. There was a day for waste, another day for plastic, another day for paper. One day, he told my 80 year old mother to place the trash on the gate and she is 5'5. Had I known this before booking, I would have never booked here. The property overall is spacious and has a lot of potential but needs some updates. The host was responsive but it required to many interruptions in my travels than I expect when traveling.

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Umgebung

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit großem Grundstück und einem schönen großen Pool. Wir haben den Urlaub als Familie sehr genossen und können das Haus sehr empfehlen. Das Haus ist sehr groß, es hat auch für 6-8 Personen gut Platz. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer war top: sehr schnell und sehr freundlich.

Great Stay!

This was a really great house! Everything is as pictured online and very spacious. The pool was fantastic and within walking distance, about 2 minutes, to the Beach Club for evening cocktails. The closest beach is about a 3-5 minute drive if you want a traditional sandy beach. It was very clean with restaurants close by and paid parking. The owner of the villa also owns a seafood restaurant in town that was fabulous! You could walk into town for a gelato etc. in about 10 minutes. We would definitely go back.
