Hi Maureen, I’m very sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet expectations. I truly wish you had reached out during your visit so we could have addressed your concerns right away. We haven’t received complaints about wasps or other insects before, so I can only assume a window or door may have been left open at some point. Had we known, we could have resolved this quickly for you. Regarding the Wi-Fi, we’ve tested it and confirmed that it’s working properly, including for sending emails. It’s possible there was a temporary issue with your email settings or program, as no other guests have experienced difficulties. As noted in the property overview, the cottage is several hundred years old, and the stairs to the top floor are indeed steeper than in modern homes: “Please note that the steep stairs add character to the cottage but may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns.” Again, I’m sorry your experience didn’t fully meet expectations.
