Cedrus Lodge consists of an open-plan living area with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, with dining seating for six people, and sitting area with TV and DVD player. The bedrooms consist of a double with TV and en-suite, a double, and a twin with TV, serviced by a bathroom. Outside, there is wraparound decking with furniture and enclosed garden with lawn and wood-fired hot tub, and off-road parking for two cars. Sorry, no pets. Sorry, no smoking. You’ll find a shop in 6.4 miles, pub in 1.7 miles, and a lake in 0.6 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all inc. in rent. Cedrus Lodge is a delightful base for a Cumbria escape. Note: On-site Vegetarian Coffee Shop/Restaurant is open 10am – 4:30pm (closed on Mondays). Note: One dog is welcome by arrangement for £20 per week. Dogs must be kept on a lead and not allowed to roam freely. Note: Three day breaks available at 70% of weekly price. Note: A £100 deposit secures your booking.

Renowned for its wealth of specialist shops, the sandstone buildings of Penrith hide intriguing yards, lanes and alleyways, with a myriad of attractive cottages, gardens and little shops. With a wide choice of excellent pubs, hotels, restaurants and entertainment, Penrith also offers a museum, and Millennium Trails round the historic city streets. Within easy reach of the town is Rheged – an innovative visitor centre with shops, restaurants, exhibitions and a giant cinema screen showing educational and informative films. Brougham Castle, Brougham Hall (The Windsor of the North), Lowther Castle and Gardens, Long Meg and her daughters (the 3rd largest stone circle in England) and the historic city of Carlisle are all a short drive away, as is the stunning scenery of both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
