This formerly industrial neighborhood is now a hotspot for young people, thanks to its nightlife scene and proximity to Zurich University of the Arts. Whether you love sports bars, breweries, clubs, or swanky cocktail bars, you'll find your new favorite watering hole night in the area. Escher Wyss also has a cinema, and you can shop for the latest fashions on Viaduktstrasse. The neighborhood's cultural highlights include the Museum of Digital Art, the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst and the Kunsthalle Zürich, a contemporary art museum set within a converted brewery. Escher Wyss is served by several bus and tram lines.
