It was very close to all the buses which made it easy to get into the city. Some restaurants and stores in walking distance which made it very convenient to get food. Great neighborhood and house had everything we needed. Host was easy to get a hold of and gave us everything we needed for an amazing stay! Will definitely look at booking again!!

This place was absolutely perfect! The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic and made exploring the area so easy. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. It was our home away from home. We would definitely stay here again!

Glenda's house offers exceptional value. She is a responsive and welcoming hostess. The house was clean, in a quiet neighbourhood, with a lovely outside space to enjoy the views. The house itself is compact, but we were 3 adults and 2 children and managed perfectly. The price-quality ratio is very high I think! Thanks again Glenda!

Great stay

The property was clean. The host was easy to communicate. The area was quite and easy to get to. It wasn't too far from a corner shop and Asda isn't too far. Would definitely book again.

Nice place to explore Brighton!

Glenda is a warm and friendly host, who answers quickly when you have a question. The house is nice with a big garden around it in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood. Suitable for families with one, two or three kids.The bus stop is nearby and brings you fast in the city centre. A family ticket for the bus (especially the tourist family tickets with the hop on hop off bus included) is recommended!

Clean and tidy. Shops are not close, but bus stop is, and public transport in Brighton is amazing. House is advertised as sleeps six but I would say it really sleeps 4 (max) and it would be a crowded 4 since only one bathroom. Host is very accommodating and friendly. Sunroom is beautiful, kitchen well appointed. We chose the house for its proximity to our friends.

Long weekend in Brighton

Lovely stay in this family property.Just outside of central Brighton, based on a quiet road.Glenda the host, is very accomodating and takes pride in her family home, making sure everything is ready for a comfortable stay for you. Leaving drawers and cupboards free in every room for your belongings.Comms were on whatsapp in the few days lead up to our stay, and Glenda was very quick to respond on WA. Thru vrbo initially although vrbo doesn't send the host notificiations of messages, so you may wait a few days for a response. The house has lovely views over the South downs and is just a short hilly walk from the local shops and pub. We did it one morning to keep my daughter busy. My mom in her 70s even managed the hill walk, although I would say it's not a walking area for the unfit or unable. The nearest bus stop would involve a walk on an incline. That being said most of Brighton is hilly.Just one suggestion for future visitors. Prepare to park off road, and away from the property, as spaces were very limited, later in the day. So if you are unloading many bags, prepare for many trips to and from the car.The front of the property is also not visible from the road. It is off a side path, half way down the road, on the right. It did not have out door lighting, so if arriving in the dark, you will need a torch, as you go down the path and then steps to the front door. We arrived in the dark and I did spend 15 mins trying to find the house and door number.

The house compact, with pretty much everything you need. There is limited storage space in some rooms, but we were only there for 3 nights so it was fine for us. It is in a quiet residential area with lovely views from the back garden. The bus stop is around 5 mins away and the service into Brighton runs around every 10-15 mins during the day. A local shop, a couple of takeaways and a pub are all around a 10 mins walk down the road. Glenda, the owner, is very responsive to any messages/requests.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Haus war für uns perfekt als 4-köpfige Familie und wir konnten von Brighton aus viele Ausflüge unternehmen, u.a. nach London und nach Eastbourne.
