Vintage Modern Apartment at Seaside

Vintage furniture treasures in a renovated apartment in a quiet building near heart of the city. Famous Löyly Sauna is just a 9 minute walk on the waterfront. To the beach you can get in 5 minutes. Helsinki Design District starts across the main road and European Chemicals Agency is basically next door. The apartment is in the top floor and on the inner court yard where you can enjoy your morning coffee or visit the famous Kaffa Roastery near by. To travel further you can use trams 1 and 6.

An old former shipyard workers accommodation build was transformed into regular apartment house building in the 1980s. This apartment has a main room and front hall with consecutive kitchen. Access to bath room is from the kitchen. Total space is 27m2 with a compact shower plus toilet.

The inner court yard is an open space for people staying in the building. In the cellar you can find an additional washing and drying room in case the in apartment washing machine is not sufficient.

Munkkisaari is single city block sized part of the city which was formerly an island. It is between Eiranranta and Telakanranta which have been built in the 21st century. Hernesaari and Punavuori are the neighboring parts of the city of which former has seaside parks and famous Löyly and latter is the home of Helsinki Design District.

Trams 1 and 6 get you around the city. There is also city bike station near by. It is possible to street park in the neighborhood but it is only free on the weekends and holidays. On weekdays you have to pay for parking between 9:00 and 21:00.
