Welcome to Lagoonie Goo Goo, a four-bedroom four-bathroom beach house in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This vacation rental in Gulf Shores sleeps 12 and offers spacious living areas, beautiful Little Lagoon views, inviting coastal décor and multiple private en suite bedrooms, making Lagoonie Goo Goo an ideal Gulf Shores beach house for family getaways and group retreats.

On the main floor, you’ll find an open floor plan designed for easy gathering. The living area features a large TV and lots of comfortable seating including a queen sleeper sofa. The dining area seats eight at a spacious table with room for four more at the kitchen bar. The kitchen at Lagoonie Goo Goo features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, stained wood cabinets and everything you need for simple homecooked meals. Natural shiplap walls and soft shades of blue create a coastal cabin feel, while large windows flood the space with natural light. A sliding glass door leads to a generous deck overlooking Little Lagoon with outdoor dining and seating. This floor also includes a bedroom with a king bed, TV and en suite full bathroom that also opens to the main living space.

Upstairs, the primary bedroom offers a king bed, TV, a private deck facing Little Lagoon and a spacious en suite bathroom. This level also includes another king bedroom with a private en suite bathroom and a fourth bedroom with two full beds, a TV and private en suite bathroom.

Head downstairs and enjoy access to the community pool open March through December. Let the kids splash in the shallow end while you relax on the sundeck. A public pier sits directly behind Lagoonie Goo Goo, perfect for fishing, crabbing or watching the sunset over Little Lagoon. When you're ready for saltwater and sand, the beach is just a short walk away.

Vacation At LaGoonie Goo Goo

Had a wonderful time. The beach home was very nice with access to the oceanside beach and a lagoon beach on the other side. Also had a long pier for fishing and sitting and taking in all the sights.

First Trip To Gilf Shores

We rented the home for a family vacation and loved it. Beach was across the street and the bay was behind us, really enjoyed it.

Location, location, location

Really enjoyed our stay in Gulf shores. Distance to the Beach was super close, lagoon was great for the littles and just steps out the front door, not much traffic, close to restaurants, nice bike trail out the back door,and pier was also nice. The house was great with king beds and each had their own bath and the dinning table was big enough for all of us. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect beach house for families

Great location in a sort of cul-de-sac. House has two balconies overlooking the Little Lagoon and it's an easy walk across the street to the public beach of Gulf Shores. Lots of family friendly restaurants and shops within 10 minutes. House has well-stocked kitchen, a grill outside (which we didn't use), comfortable furniture and beds. We hope to come back again!

Family Retreat

The house offered all we needed for our family retreat. A few things that would have helped due to we aren’t local, the kitchen needs more dish towels and wash cloths. My families overall consensus was having liquid hand soap for the bathrooms would be ideal. Overall was exactly what we needed

Great Family Vacation

The house is in a perfect location easy access to the beach with a great view of the inlet. Easy walking distance to the lagoon area or to the beach. Perfect with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Very nice home.2 great balconies plenty of seating for the family inside and out. The fridge and freezer are a bit small we had to make a couple of food orders to make sure we had room. It is stocked with plenty of utensils, cookware and plates. The stairs may be a bit much for someone who has issues climbing stairs. The bedroom on main level the bed seemed tilted but most beds were fairly comfortable.Easy to get to restaurants and attractions. More neighborhood feel than over commercialized… We had a great stay and will definitely book again.

Could not have had a better time

Exactly as shown. Very clean, easy access, away from the condos so not nearly as crowded. We did go memorial weekend so there were a lot of people there but not nearly as many as other places we have stayed. Plenty of privacy. The grandkids loved the pool and the beach is right across the road (we never had any trouble getting across) for public access. The view was great. Highly recommend this place.

Fun in the sun

Property was as listed. Beautiful views and short walk to the beach. Check-in said 4 pm and they mean it. Got there about 3:45 but door code did not work until exactly 4 pm.

Family vacation 2022

We came to this lovely property as a family of 12 and had a wonderful time. The view of the lagoon is beautiful and the walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes. Plus there is a pool right in your backyard if you prefer. So much to do and places to eat close by. The peppery sleeps 12 comfortably and the price was great. Check in and check out times were my only issue, as you pretty much lose an entire day with such a late check in and early check out. Other than that we loved it

Great beach house

My family had a wonderful trip to Gulf Shores. This beach house was just perfect for my three adult daughters and their families and my husband and me. It was in a great location with a short walk to the beach and the lagoon in back. The pool was adequate, and we met some nice people there. It was very family oriented and great for children. The house was clean and comfortable, and we were pleased with our stay. It was nice for each bedroom to have its own bathroom. The check in was easy and my questions were answered promptly. The only draw back was the 9:00 am check out - 10:00 would have been much nicer! All in all we had a great time, and I would definitely recommend this beach house.

The pictures of the property are severely outdated.

Rental process was fine, property was not pictured accurately and it was not clean. Checkout time was earlier than most and check out was later with no flexibility.

Only issue we had was with wifi on first night and management company was responsive via txt to try and resolve and could not and the next day as promised a repair person was out to replace a part. all in all very professionally managed. Home was mostly well stocked, clean and enjoyable stay. Views from the deck to the lagune and walk path were probably better than an ocean view and more interesting. Pool appeared to be cleaned daily, grill worked and had an extra tank if needed. Would guess the walk to beach to be about 5 minutes to get to the water so no real issue. Would rent again and same for the management company handling the rental

Unresponsive, dirty mugs, slanted beds, and ripped linens

The home is beautiful and in a good location. There were just a few things that made our stay a hassle. 1) The electronic door lock was broken and would not unlock 70% of the time. We would have to attempt to unlock it many times before it eventually opened. 2) The TV was a bright purple color and almost impossible to watch. Unfortunately, it wasn't due to bad picture settings. The TV just needs to be replaced. 3) We found crumbs and hair inside the mugs in the cupboard. 4) The master bed frame was on blocks and fell off immediately after getting on the bed. 5) Another bed was slanted terribly. 6) The towels were ripped down the side 7) When we emailed about the issues, we received no response
