Natural disaster made vacation unreal

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Under the circumstances thing went pretty well. I have stayed there many times over the last two decades. My only complaint is there was no FASHLIGHT, or CANDLES In the room. I had an accident when a gust of wind slammed the screen door against my arm. I was grateful for the time share people for help because there was no one in your office to help. On the other hand I thought it was a wonderful thing for the get together by the barbecue on Thursday.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views from the unit were amazing and it isn’t he’s old reason we rented this unit. We were aware that there was just one window A/C unit which kept the room pretty cool but it was so incredibly noisy and it was not cool enough for us to sleep without it on unfortunately . The rest of unit was warm and there is no a/c. Just a fan which I know is something we would not want for our next rental. But it was a learning experience. The unit has great views though! The staff was attentive when I asked for a replacement shower liner as the one in the unit needed replacing.

The place itself was a little dated and the A/C was a tiny window unit that barley kept the bedroom cool. The living area stayed warm even with the other fans going. There were ants around the sinks in the house as well.

It's complicated.

Kuleana Resort is wonderful. This particular unit is in an ideal location within Kuleana. But other than some new flooring, the unit appears to be all original interiors from the 70's and was not clean. In fairness to the housekeepers, it would be a difficult place to clean well because the finishes are so old and failing. Notwithstanding, we loved being there and would certainly stay in a different unit at Kuleana Resort again.

Paradise!!!!!!

We absolutely loved this place! The room was perfect!!! Everything about it was wonderful!!! We’re comming back in April of next year, already booked and ready. The only disappointment was no sandy beach, but one of the owners said depends on the storms…sometimes there is and sometimes there isn’t….hoping next trip there is:)

Simple quiet and clean in Kuleana

We love staying at Kuleana. The place was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the lawn chairs and just chilling at the beach.

Beautiful Sunsets and Evening Sky

Updated condo, ocean front, second floor, minimal stairs, quiet location on the property, well maintained grounds, security gate, sufficient parking, beach chairs and towels and close to grocery stores and take out food places. Small beach, turtles, ok snorkeling. We really enjoyed the sunsets and very nice night skies. Only noise came from people going up and down stairs to third floor. No elevator.

DEAN AND ALANA APRIL TRIP

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: These condos and location are absolutely beautiful. It is gated and safe. This was our second trip to the Kuleana. The view from our lanai was something special to wake up to every morning. Views of Malakai and Lanai are spectacular and I believe is the reason the water is especially calm in this area. Snorkeling right out front of your condo is a must and the daily sighting of turtles never gets old. The drive north to Olivine pools is about 40 minutes and there are plenty of fun hikes to explore along the way back. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area to visit, and the drive to Lahaina is only about 15 minutes south for fun shopping and lunch. Overall, perfect location. We would highly recommend it. Thanks Kuleana!
