Set within 30 acres of stunning Purbeck countryside between the villages of Kingston and Corfe Castle, Scoles Manor Barns provide a peaceful rural retreat with sweeping views across the Isle of Purbeck. Beautifully converted there are three barns on site. The Great Barn combines original character features such as exposed beams, stone walls and vaulted ceilings with stylish modern comforts and generous living space.

Located on the first floor, the spacious open-plan living area showcases the barn’s original charm, with vaulted ceilings, exposed timbers and a light, airy atmosphere. Comfortable seating creates the perfect space to relax together after a day exploring the Dorset coast and countryside, whether enjoying a quiet evening, sharing meals or spending time with family and friends.

The recently fitted kitchen and breakfast area is fully equipped for easy self-catering stays, with everything needed for family meals and relaxed dining. Bright and welcoming.

The Great Barn offers three well-appointed ground floor bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom features a super-king-size bed, child-sized bunk beds and an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin. The remaining two bedrooms each have versatile zip-and-link beds, which can be arranged as either super-king-size doubles or twin singles to suit your group. A second shower room on the ground floor includes a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.

Guests can enjoy a large shared gravel courtyard with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining while taking in the surrounding countryside views. Set amongst open fields, the grounds provide plenty of space to relax and explore. Children will love the natural play area complete with a castle, swings, slides and a grounded boat, while adults can relax and take in the views. There is also a fenced paddock where dogs can exercise off lead.

The Great Barn includes parking for two cars. A communal Ohme EV charger is available near the entrance to Scoles Manor Barns for overnight use, ideal for guests travelling with electric vehicles.

Perfectly positioned between Kingston and Corfe Castle, The Great Barn offers easy access to Swanage, the sandy beaches of Studland, Worth Matravers and some of Dorset’s most scenic coastal and countryside walks.

The Great Barn, Little Barn and The Dairy can be booked individually or together, making them ideal for larger family gatherings, group holidays or special celebrations.
