A very well equipped and secluded large comfortable residence.

A very picturesque spot with lovely rolling countryside and nearby villages with good shops and markets. A nice large swimming pool and within easy reach for a day out in the Pyrenees.

Another lovely stay

Our second time staying at Les Hourquets. It's a great base for the Marciac Jazz festival and exploring the Pyrenees. The garden and the pool are perfect for relaxing in between! Thank you for another lovely holiday.

Beautiful stay in calm location

The house is well equipped (great swimming pool, garden, etc.) and offered a lot of space for us (5 adults and 3 children). If you are looking for peaceful holidays, the house is perfect. We enjoyed our stay :) Thank you Denise!

Fabulous house and location!

Had a really lovely stay here at Hourquets. The house is fabulous (and huge!) with a lovely pool and excellent games room. The area is very quiet and relaxing. Lovely boulangeries and markets nearby. All round relaxing and wonderful holiday - thank you!

Excellent spacious and beautiful cottage

We had a great time at this beautiful property. The pool is perfect and the outdoor seating area was lovely. We used the bikes to cycle locally and were able to get to lots of places easily. We would definitely think of coming back to this property.

Totally agree with a comment read before going the pictures do not do justice of this beautiful spacious house ! It really felt like home with everything we could have needed. Remote and peaceful - you get use to the cockerel the only neighbour we saw!

Excellent Property Enjoyed Our Stay

The house was lovely very true to the pictures. The house was very spacious and contained everything needed for the holiday including extras such as table tennis table and xbox. The pool was large and warm and we made good use of the coffee machine and ice maker facility in the fridge/freezer.The property is set in lovely countryside.

Beautiful, spacious house with fantastic garden and pool

We had a great week in Estampes, the house was very cool in the day time and there was lots of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. Great swimming pool and lots of things for the kids to keep entertained. The nearest shop was a bit of a drive but fine with planning. Overall it was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend, the region is absolutely beautiful!

A beautiful family home in an idyllic rural setting

We had a lovely two week stay here. The pool was great and when we had minor problems the owners were very helpful in getting things sorted out really quickly. The property has plenty to keep the kids occupied with Xbox table tennis etc. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds really comfy. Highly recommended.

Peaceful and comfortable property

We had a lovely stay in this really beautiful property. Comfy beds, more bathrooms than you can shake a stick at and the perfect outdoor seating areas with shelter from the sun and occasional stormy downpours. The pool and inflatables were a big hit and we enjoyed the bounty from the fig and plum trees in the garden as well as the foraged purslane from the driveway! The house is perfectly placed as a base for the Marciac jazz festival.

A Rural Stay

A lovely old farmhouse, lovingly restored and decorated. A fully equipped kitchen with appliances of a high standard. A good selection of toys/games and pool accessories for our grandchildren. The outdoor space was generally maintained however on arrival the pool needed some serious cleaning which was rather disappointing. A very rural location so be prepared to travel.

Blissful relaxation

Our family have just got back after two weeks of blissful relaxation at Hourquets. The house, pool and gardens were a delight. The many various forms of entertainment meant that the whole family were kept happy at all times. If you want peace and quiet you couldn't find a better place. My recommendation would be to make an early start one day and drive up and see the sunrise from Col du Tourmalet in the Pyrenees. Despite the long drive to and from the ferry at Caen I don't remember feeling more relaxed after a summer holiday.

Wonderful retreat

This a fabulous place to stay. We were just five but the house is huge with plenty of room to spread out with more of you. Modern kitchen/bathrooms in a traditional French property. Big garden with warm pool, table tennis / boules / wifi to occupy teenagers. Lots of local (hilly country lanes to walk / cycle / jog. Local shops only 5 mins drive; bigger supermarkets only 10 -15 mins. Would thoroughly recommend to all. Thnk you!!!!

Fantastic

We had a fantastic 2 weeks , the house was Brilliant with masses of space inside and a beautiful tiled patio area leading to the pool. The house was full of really high quality fittings and all 4 En-suite bathrooms were excellent . The pool was lovely with the easiest to use cover that we have come across in 13 years of holidaying ! Salt water made it easy on the skin and delightful during the Hot weather . The outside area had really good seating which made it great to enjoy life in the garden. Although we were only 5 , the house would easily work with a larger group. The house was even better than in the photos and I would definitely recommend it to any one looking for a holiday in the Midi Pyrenees .

Charming old farm house with all relevant things present , to provide a relaxing Holiday

First of all, the pictures really present the house as it is and everything which should be present in the house, is present. The area around the house is very quite, and will give you a very relaxed time to spend. Further more the house is very charming since it is equipped with a lot of 'old' details. All bedrooms are provided with showers which is perfect. Kitchen is spacious , and in the rooms you can relax by looking at the televisions. The WIFI works as it should be working. Last but not least, the garden is spacious with a perfect pool as the centre of attention. The area , is very beautiful with an outlook on the Pyrenees. Sufficient to do in the area, but be prepared before you are headed somewhere. Ray van Ginneke

Away from it all in comfort

Beautiful house, gorgeous garden, plenty of room for all - all of the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. French shutters are great for shutting out the sunshine and keeping the cool inside and also for a good night's sleep. Kitchen was missing the toaster - which is being fixed I believe, but otherwise was very well equipped. Lovely area for dining outside or just relaxing and the pool was great, although the week we were there the weather prevented us using it every day. C'est la vie. Some good restaurants but a bit of a drive. The daily bread is not quite on the doorstep but not far away - ditto for shops. Countryside is beautiful and devoid of tourists. Would recommend Auch and St Bertrand de Commenges - and all the little villages here and there. Pretty easy to find and access. Denise very responsive. Thanks to all.
