The nearest train station is Totnes, approximately 20 mins away by car.
Parking: The property has no parking on site; however, you can pull up to unload in front of the main entrance to the property to load and unload. Between 1st October and 30 April there are lots of free and unlimited spaces throughout the town, the majority of those being on 'South Town' and 'Newcomen Road' which are the roads immediately outside the property leading up to the Castle. 'Embankment Road' is also a good option which is the road that runs along the entire river front and a 2-minute walk from the house.
The main central car park located is just a 10 minute walk from the property and can be controlled using the PaybyPhone App or alternatively, the Just Park app can offer local alternatives.
During the main season (May-September) the 'Park and Ride' offers the best solution with regular buses running through the day and drops/collects from the centre of town.
Rental Conditions: Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign & agree to our rental conditions.
Pets: We do welcome a well behaved pet but do ask that you respect the furniture and do not leave a dog alone unattended in the house.
1. No smoking or drug use. No parties. Dogs must not be left unattended on the house.
2. Quiet hours are between 10pm to 8am. Please be considerate of our neighbours.
3. The number of total guests cannot exceed the maximum number of guests allowed on the property.

Lovely accommodation, although we struggled without any out door space ie terrace/garden travelling with our dog. Property up a side road, close to the harbour but not directly opened onto it as photos suggest. No Parking available.

Lovely property in excellent location
Really lovely property, beautifully decorated. Perfect base for short break. We did not struggle to park on the road near the property, but did not then move the car. Very convenient for all local shops, bars and restaurants. Lacking wine glasses (all mismatched). I would imagine the living area would be very squashed if fully occupied, fine for two of us and dog. The TV connectivity also poor, programme lagged badly when played through iplayer.
