Spacious Kinvara Villa with AC, Gym, Pool & Mountain Views

The space
Thanks for choosing to stay at Kinvara villa which is normally home to me and my partner. We are from Ireland and Pakistan and absolutely in love with Cape Town. Kinvara is an Irish word which means by the water and also has a close relation to Kinara which means the same in Urdu. We have highlighted below some of the amenities in our home but if you have any specific questions then please ask and we will try and help where we can.

We love to host our friends and family and our home is set-up just for that with plenty of spaces to hangout as a group or to get away on your own to enjoy the stunning views over lions head, table mountain and the twelve apostles. You can even watch the hikers climbing the lions head or watch the cable car go up from the comfort of the terrace or the pool lounger!

Lounge / Entertainment areas

A large lounge with enough comfortable seating for everyone to sit and relax anytime of the day. The room has pieces from our travels across the world but of course includes some of the best local artisans. There is an also a 99” home cinema screen tv’s for those movie nights when you just want to crash after a long day of adventures.

The lounge is connected to the outdoor terrace for the indoor / outdoor living ( as well the Cape Town views) and gets plenty of natural light and views over the pool and the gardens.

Kitchen / Dinning

We spend a lot of time in the kitchen! This is where the magic happens, so it’s certainly set-up for you to make your meals when you are not out enjoying the amazing Cape Town restaurants. It’s also perfect for those nights where you want a private chef to cook you a feast for those special moments. We even have a special locally made pottery dinner set available as an extra for the special nights. Ask us if you would like to get some recommendations for chefs.

- 6 seater dining table in the kitchen for those relaxed evenings.

Study/Pyjama Lounge/work from holiday!
There is a separate lounge upstairs with a tv and a desk for when you need to work from home/holidays. Of course you can also work from the lounger by the pool or any of the other terraces!

Garden / Pool
We love being outdoor and the garden is a big part of that. It’s a garden with a constant view.

Gym
Cape Town is all about the fun and enjoying the great food and wine but we know sometimes you also need to work off those calories! We have a small home gym which includes a rowing machine, full weights (5- 25kg pairs) / bench, kettle bells, skipping ropes and a yoga mats.

Parking
There is plenty of spaces for parking both within the house and around it. You can comfortable fit 4-5 cars between the garage and driveway. The best bit is you can drive in from one side and drive out the other so you never have to struggle with reversing!

Guests are also welcomed to hire one of our highly skilled and experienced local nannies on request for any child caring assistance.

Please note that for long stays (over 7 nights), to maintain our high standards, a mandatory linen change will be scheduled and charged an additional 2000ZAR per week.
