The Kastanje is a detached bungalow that accommodates up to six persons. With three bedrooms, an open kitchen, and a bright living room, it is the perfect place to enjoy quality time together. The sliding doors or French doors provide direct access to the terrace with garden furniture, offering a view of the spacious garden.

Practical ground floor layout
On the ground floor, you will find the hallway, a separate toilet, the open kitchen, and the living room. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and features a bathtub and a shower, allowing you to fully relax. Additionally, there is a spacious double bedroom on the ground floor, ideal for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.

Comfort upstairs
The first floor has two more spacious double bedrooms, providing extra privacy and comfort during your stay.

The holiday park is uniquely located in Noordwolde, a beautiful region on the border of Friesland, Drenthe, and Overijssel. Here, you can experience the tranquility of nature while having plenty of opportunities to explore the surroundings. Within 15 minutes, you can reach the enchanting Giethoorn, where you can cruise through the narrow canals and admire the authentic thatched farmhouses.

Endless outdoor opportunities
Nature and outdoor enthusiasts will love Drents-Friese Wold National Park, one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands, offering kilometers of hiking and cycling trails through forests, sand dunes, and heathlands. Also nearby is Weerribben-Wieden National Park, a paradise for canoeists and bird watchers.

For a day filled with culture and history, visit the charming cities of Steenwijk, Meppel, and Assen. In Assen, you can explore the Drents Museum, featuring impressive exhibitions, while Steenwijk and Meppel offer cozy shopping streets and inviting terraces.

There is plenty to do at the park itself. Children will enjoy the playground and petting zoo, while adults can rent an e-bike to explore the surroundings at their own pace. In the nearby area, you can find exciting activities such as the Barefoot Path in Appelscha, the Climbing Forest in Veenhuizen, and the Kameleondorp Terherne, inspired by the famous Dutch children’s books.
