The living area is designed for comfort and relaxation, with a plush three-seater velvet Snug sofa and pouffe & the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring. A TV with Fire Stick allows guests to log in to their own streaming accounts (please note there is no standard broadcast TV).


The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable self-catering stay, including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and grill, hob and microwave.


The main bedroom features a super-comfortable kingsize bed and generous storage space. A desk with a comfortable office chair and fast WiFi make it easy to catch up on work if needed while away. The second bedroom offers a sofa bed, ideal for additional guests or families.


The large bathroom combines modern convenience with period charm, featuring beautiful original-style floor tiles, a separate bath and shower, automatic lighting and a heated towel rail.


A spacious porch provides practical storage for shoes and walking boots, and is also suitable for bikes, wheelchairs or prams.

Set in the heart of Kilmartin Glen, an area internationally renowned for its rich archaeological heritage, the apartment provides the perfect base for exploring this remarkable landscape.


Just a 30-second walk away is the much-loved Kilmartin Hotel, known for its cosy atmosphere, excellent food and friendly welcome — a wonderful place to spend an evening or two. Directly across the road you'll find the newly refurbished Kilmartin Museum and the Glen Bistro, making dining out and discovering the area wonderfully convenient.


Often described as having one of the most important concentrations of prehistoric monuments in Scotland, Kilmartin Glen is home to over 350 archaeological sites within six miles of the village, including standing stones, stone circles, cairns, ancient forts and cup-and-ring marked rocks.


The surrounding area is perfect for walkers and cyclists alike, with miles of scenic routes accessible directly from the apartment. Forest tracks and canal paths offer fantastic cycling opportunities without needing to use the main road.






Dog Friendly


Dogs are very welcome at 1 The Cairn — we believe family holidays should include the whole family. There are no restrictions on size or breed, and dogs are charged at £10 per dog per week.


We simply ask that you let us know in advance how many dogs you are bringing, bring throws or blankets if they are likely to jump on soft furnishings, and leave the property clean and tidy on departure.
