Moated castle ruins, a cafe, shop, woodland riverside walks and pub are all a couple of steps from the front door. For Soho members, Babington House is a 7 minute drive away to the North, and The Newt and Bruton are a 15 minute drive South. Heading West you can easily reach Wells and Glastonbury in 20 minutes. For all immediate amenities, supermarkets and shops, Frome is only 3 miles away.

Quality bedding and towels await your comfort, and a well equipped kitchen for chefs, plus a 1930s piano and music books for your use if you play.

Sip your morning coffee in the sunny courtyard garden and listen to the village sounds coming to life. Or pop to the cafe round the corner if you’d rather have a good coffee made for you!
The cottage is filled with original art and antiques, and two log burners for those seeking a luxuriously authentic country break.
A large cast iron bateau bath awaits you for an evening soak, and we even provide a candle and bath salts.

Follow the brook past the ducks and down donkey lane for a walk down through the woody glade for a stunning 40 minute walk and back. For more dramatic wildlife, Longleat Safari Park is a 15 minute drive away.
