Rustico Milu’

Recently renovated rustico (2025) with private parking space and magnificent lake view.

Tastefully renovated from the ruins of an old farmstead, Rustico Milù is located on the edge of the wood in a very quiet location just a step away from the centre of Viggiona. Relax and enjoy a good glass of wine and a delicious meal on the large balcony equipped with a grill and comfortable outdoor furniture.
The large windows not only illuminate the rooms with natural light, but also allow you to enjoy the magnificent lake view. Rustico Milù is the ideal place for those seeking a holiday of tranquillity and contact with nature.

Rooms:
grond floor: entrance, living room with kitchen area and balcony, bedroom and bathroom with shower.
first floor: mansard with TV corner and sleeping area.

Sleeping places: one double bed in the bedroom on the ground floor; one double bed and one single bed in the mansard.

Location: Viggiona, an ancient village in the hills of Lake Maggiore, is home to a magnificent baroque church dedicated to San Maurizio, which can be reached in a few minutes' walk from the accommodation. Viggiona is also home to a couple of well-known restaurants in the area, both within walking distance (about 500m). In the nearby village of Trarego, there is a small grocery shop (2 km) and a bar (1.5 km). The Wonderwood amusement park, ideal for children and adults, is only 4 km away.
The rustico is about 6 km from Cannero Riviera, where there are several restaurants, bars, a grocery shop, the lakeside promenade and the beautiful beach.
Various sports can be practised in our area and from the accommodation there are good possibilities for hiking and mountain biking.

Please note: the rustic can only be reached on foot (approx. 150m from the car park) via an uphill track, so trolleys are not particularly suitable.
Due to its location and the spiral staircase connecting the two floors, the rustico is unfortunately not ideal for people with walking difficulties or small children.
Bed linen and towels are NOT provided.
The sleeping area on the first floor cannot be completely darkened.

Access: State road 34 Lago Maggiore (Locarno, Ascona, Brissago, Cannobio) to Cannero Riviera to collect the keys from our office. Take the road in front of our office in the direction of Trarego-Viggiona. Continue on the main road, pass the Luna and Usignolo restaurants and, after about 450 m (5 km from our agency), turn right into Via Don Giacomo Minoli. Continue for a further 650 metres until you reach a small public car park where you can unload your luggage. The private car park is located upstream, walking backwards for 50m along the road you have just taken. Take the stone-paved road on foot uphill, pass the yellow house with the green shutters and the fence with the dogs, and in about 150m you will reach the Rustico Milù on your right.
