Nestled on the shores of Loch Gairloch, West Bothy is a new cosy larch-clad property with uninterrupted views to the Ocean and mountain beyond the perfect relaxing escape.

58 Degrees North - East Bothy and West Bothy have stunning views across the loch to the iconic mountain, Baosbheinn, the Torridons and Skye. They are set in a spectacular location which is secluded and relaxing, but within easy walking distance to the beaches, cafe's, shops and pubs of Gairloch. An ideal location to explore the North West Highlands and NC500 from.

    Lovely stay here. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Beautiful views of sea and mountains. Lots of local amenities and walks from the door step.Hosts were very helpful with clear instructions prior to arrival.

    An amazing property with stunning views across Gairloch harbour. The accommodation has a lovely log fire for the evening. It was very clean and everything that you needed was there, including appliances. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip in this part of Scotland.

    Splendid! The bothy comes equipped with the best nature TV programme we had ever seen. Beinn Eighe provides an especially spectacular companion with the ever changing light. We would certainly want to return - for a longer stay next time,. The accommodation is exactly as advertised - clean, warm, well-equipped and comfortable - and the host was kindness personfied, Moreover, the area itself is beautiful and historically interesting (try Inverewe Gardens and the Arctic Convoy Museum for starters). Sàr-mhath!

    Amazing! The West bothy has everything you could need, and the views are just spectacular. The place is spotless. Our hosts were extremely helpful when we had some issues at another place during a storm. Cant wait to come back again!

    A brand new, highly comfortable cabin with floor to ceiling windows framing a spectacular view. Positioned with overhangs to keep out the prevailing wind, we could sit and watch two sea eagles perched daily on a tree across the water. There’s a decent sized Co-op in town, a coffee house and restaurant 5 minutes’ walk and lots of sea cruises. Good parking alongside the cabin and clear instructions for recycling, hammock, log stove. No midges at all at the start of July and lovely warm weather. The walk to the beach over the hill beside the cafe is really nice. Inverewe gardens are great to visit and the archeological walk behind the Gairloch Museum is lovely. Lots to see and do in the vicinity. Underfloor heating in the bathroom is a lovely treat to return to. For us the bed was a bit too soft but that’s the only negative we had. We would 100% recommend staying here.

    This is an unbelievable beautiful place and a high-end holiday home. Everything is brand new as they just opened.I thought long about whether to write this review. There is something about this flat that just says “keep this to yourself - it’s such a gem”, but then, for the gift we received in staying here, I feel it’s the right thing to do to spread the word. Thanks for a lovely stay- the best in our 4-week Scotland road-trip!

    Location absolument parfaite pour un couple: - la maison est complètement neuve, propre et est très bien équipée - le poële à bois est très agréable pour les soirées un peu fraîches.- le propriétaire fournit par message toutes les informations nécessaires . Et le très gros plus est la vue incroyable sur le loch de Gairloch ( du salon et de la chambre) et sur les montagnes environnantes . Avec un peu de chance , vous pourrez observer des dauphins directement depuis la terrasse.
