Enjoy the sights and sounds of a waterfall and meandering stream each morning, and relax by the fire pit in the evening after a day of exploring nature trails and swimming in pristine pools. Our historic inn offers farm-fresh, locally sourced breakfasts and artisanal picnic baskets, as well as outdoor cultural events in our gardens and creative retreats.

Private bedroom with full bath in the Green River Bridge Inn. Full gourmet breakfast is included. Peaceful location next to the Green River, a circa 1800 covered bridge, and a dam. Beautiful meadows and trails to walk or bike on. Make this your destination and relax, watching the birds, taking in the foliage, and enjoying true Vermont country living. We have a lounge with a fully stocked bar at the Inn. We are only 18 minutes to Brattleboro, Vermont, and 40 minutes to Mt. Snow.

The space
The room is upstairs in the Green River Bridge Inn. We serve breakfast every day to our guests and open the Inn to evening dinners and Sunday brunch, either in the Inn or outside beside the Green River. Enjoy a drink in the bar or out on the back porch of the Inn. We have a fully stocked bar in our lounge. The Inn was originally built in 1830 and underwent a complete modernization in 2000.

We are surrounded by Vermont's rolling hills and country roads, yet only 18 minutes to the city of Brattleboro, Vermont, and 40 minutes to skiing at Mt. Snow. Guests have access to the back porch, river, yard, swimming by the dam, chairs, a fire pit by the river, and bicycles at the Inn.

Guest access
All of the indoor areas, dining room, TV room, the back porch, as well as the back yard, and the adjoining river. We have chairs and tables available for guests to use, as well as beach chairs for relaxing by the river.

During your stay
We live on-site and are a knock on the door away. Guests can call, text, or knock. We serve breakfast each morning as part of the room price.
