Only a 3 min walk to the main bus terminal and the main shopping/dining street Laugavegur.
Also a 5 minutes walk to a renovated swimming pool that has indoor and outdoor swimming, sauna and hot tubs.
There is a supermarket near, 2 minute walk.

Loved the apartment! Had an American coffee pot which we loved! Location is great with free parking. So roomy that we were able to spread out and not be on top of each other. Grocery store less than a block away and a nice little coffee shop around the corner.

The property was in excellent condition and the common areas ( living room, dining room, and kitchen ) were large enough to comfortably accommodate our group of six adults. The location was perfect with everything within easy walking distance. We had a rental car and there was ample free parking in front of the property. The host was extremely responsive to our questions prior to the trip and worked with us to ensure a smooth checkin and checkout. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking to accommodate a group of 4-8 people.

The location was great - walking distance to everything we wanted to see/do in downtown Reykjavik. The apartment had everything we needed for comfortable sleeping, meals, watching TV, and playing cards. Very spacious.Runar, the host, was VERY easy to communicate with - almost immediate responses to any questions. Would recommend this apartment for large groups like our family.

Very roomy and good location. The place had a few quirks. The only negative was the shower water smelled like sulfur water. It had the smell of untreated Florida ground water. Something I think can be easily remedied by the owner.

Great location and we loved the spacious feel to the apartment. Easy to get groceries down the street and the kitchen was set up nicely. We enjoyed being able to seat a party of 6 for dinner easily around the table. Bathroom could use a remodel as the tub was not usable and the shower was marginal.

This place worked well for us, was a short stay (2nights). Was great being in town close to restaurants and bars. We had a big van for the 6 of us and parking was no problem. Spent a lot of time traveling around Iceland and house was clean and comfortable to come back to. Would definitely rent again.

Great apartment in Reykjavik

The apartment is great!! It is super clean, and has lots of space. Very comfortable furniture. It also has a full kitchen so you dont have eat out every night. The location is perfect!! It is in walking distance of tons of restaurants, site seeing locations and a supermarket. Also has tons of free parking rught outside the entrance. Definitely stay here if you are coming Reykjavik.

Excellent location, plenty of things in walking distance. Stocked with appliances, linens, games...everything you would need! Our large group had plenty of space.

Eclectic space, but Be careful with steps!

We enjoyed our stay, but would warn about stairs leading up to the house and around the house. This stay is not ideal for people with mobility issues!Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. The decorations around the house were a lot of fun and the space is really neat! The location is fantastic and is walking distance from many things. There is also plenty of space for many people.

Great hangout

This place worked out great for us. It’s a querky space that had plenty of space for 6 of us. Communication with Rúnar was easy. The location was nice - a generally quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the main part of town and quick access to the main roads when we needed to get out.

Exactly what we needed for a large group

Eight of us traveled to Iceland - four parents, and four of our kids, aged from 15 to 24 (two boys, two girls). The sheer size of the apartment was perfect. The boys shared a bedroom, the girls another, and the parents in the other two. We had PLENTY of space. The kitchen, cupboards and extra bathroom (toilet only, with external sink) kept people from arguing about inconveniences when getting ready, showering, or needing to go to the bathroom. We only used the kitchen for preparing coffee and washing things, but the fridge, countertop, large table, and pantry storage were utilized daily. The smart TV was great to decompress after some VERY long days. The apartment is one block away from Bonus, coffee shops and bakeries. We walked EVERYWHERE downtown - including restaurants and shopping - with almost everything in Reykjavik between 5 to 20 minutes away. Old Harbour was a longer walk, but we still did it. We only took a taxi once. The decor is eclectic and some things seem dated. The neighborhood seemed a little scary at first, but we got comfortable in the location very quickly. However, we all agreed that it was the perfect place for us at the perfect price and excellent location to the city. The free parking was a huge plus, and Runar was VERY responsive to any and all of my questions. He always immediately answered all of my questions before and during the trip. I highly recommend this location for a large family who wants to stay in Reykjavik.

Lots of space

Very close to town, very very spacious, parking right outside and a supermarket walking distance. Bathroom needs a spruce up and we kept windows open for some ventilation. Other than that, was a comfortable stay.

Great stay in the heart of the city.

We had a great time here, excellent location and spacious as all get out. Huge space to sit with family and eat after a long day exploring Reykjavik, comfortable bedrooms and all the amenities you could want in a city apartment. Close to cafe's, restaurants and sightseeing. Added bonus of grocery shopping and coffee shops mere steps away. Would highly recommend, will definitely return!

An absolute treasure.

A beautifully -sized and -located flat near the center of the city. Everything has been considered; we had a 4 year old boy who was enchanted with the toys in the apartment. The space is comfortable and a wonderful gathering place for family and friends. Our group created many wonderful memories there. Runar is a fantastic host.
