Swirl Howe, a lovely holiday home over three floors, consists of a kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, gas hob, electric oven, and microwave, a dining room with dining seating, and a sitting room with TV and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a twin with en-suite and two second-floor twins. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and heated towel rail, and WC and washer/dryer, and cloakroom with basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed small patio/yard area and off-road parking space for one car. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater.
