Welcome to Halcyon Cottage, a charming 19th-century property in Deal's conservation area. Less than 100 metres from the beach and one minute from the award-winning high street with pubs, restaurants, and shops, this cosy cottage offers the perfect blend of seaside tranquility and local convenience. With a short walk to the train station, it’s ideal for those arriving by rail. Inside, enjoy character features like a wood-burning stove, and outside, a patio for relaxing after a day at the beach.
Inside this cosy cottage is a welcoming kitchen/dining room, ideal for up to three guests. The living room offers a warm atmosphere with a charming fireplace and a table that can be extended and used as a games table, perfect for evenings with family or friends. A small rocking chair adds a special touch to the room.
Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a comfortable king-size bed, while the second bedroom has a single bed and a folding desk that can be used as a small workstation. The bathroom, equipped with a shower, offers complimentary toiletries.
Outside, you’ll find a lovely patio with dining furniture, perfect for enjoying a meal or a drink while soaking up the evening sun.
