Must be 25+ yr old to book. READ ENTIRE AD BEFORE BOOKING & READ SNOW REQUIRMENTS IF BOOKING DURING SNOW SEASON. Located in the Prestigious Montgomery Estates, rustic, mountain style home with open beam ceilings and knotty pine walls. You get the true Tahoe cabin feel. 3 bedroom, 3 full baths, 2 car garage, 2577sf. Larger than the average Tahoe home, High ceilings in bedrooms. 2 fridges, washer & dry. Poker table. 3 decks.
Like most Tahoe homes, this home has NO AIR CONDITIONING.
Must be 25+yrs to rent as well as sign a rental/rules agreement and provide ID to the host matching name on booking account and rental agreement.
MAX Occupancy -County allows 6.
Like most Tahoe homes, this home does NOT have A/C. We state this a lot in the ad as guests still ask how to turn on A/C upon arrival. Thank you.
House has 2 refrigerators, as well as washer and dry for your laundry needs. There is a poker table for some adult fun. House comes with a computer for convenience and wireless internet and cable with a few movie channels.
There are 3 decks off the back and side of the house, 2 of the decks off the master bedroom with privet access. Enjoy drinks and the views off the decks. Home has heated garage and two furnaces, one services just the Master Bedroom. Lots of storage space. All situated on nearly a half acre lot. Government lots to the right and left of property so you have privacy and no loud neighbors next to you. For the kids, there is a play room in the house and also a play set in the back yard. House comes with sand toys and sleds for snow play. Paver driveway which will fit 3 cars outside and another two smaller cars in the garage (5 Cars Total Parking Spots) The exterior of this home is protected by Ring.
This location is just a few minutes to the casinos, beach and ski lifts, although far enough away from the rift raft. This area is one of the few high-end areas of South Lake Tahoe. This is not one of those boxed in neighborhoods. A few blocks away at the back of our subdivision is National Forest Area with lots of trails for snowshoeing or cross country skiing in the winter, or hiking and mountain biking in the summer. Camp Richardson and Pope Beach are also just a few miles away, both with great summer activities.

• Master bedroom (upstairs) – King Bed
• Second bedroom (upstairs) – Queen bed
• Third bedroom (upstairs) – Full bed, Bunk Bed with a double on the bottom and single on the top. Also a single trundle bed that pulls out.
TV’s and seating are in all bedrooms.

Check-In Time: 4:00 pm
Check-Out Time: 10:00 am
**Things to consider before renting this place:
**MUST READ SNOW REQUIREMENTS** (Shoveling) If you are lucky enough to experience the snow during your stay, please take note of these very important points….
It is advised and recommended that you have snow chains as well as 4 wheel drive.
Our private snow removal company will come and clear driveways and walkways & the bear box area. Snow removal by this company can take place during or after storms once snow has reached 6"-10" and will take place once every 24 hours each time it reaches 6”-10”. We do not have exact times of clearing and they could take place anytime during the night or day.
At times, Tahoe can receive large amounts of snow in a short amount of time. When this happens, it slows down response times for the County to remove snow from the streets, as well as for private companies, which clear our driveways. So, there may be a possibility that more snow may have accumulated in the 24 hour period since the last clearing. If on your check out morning or check-in time and this is the case, having 4 wheel drive with chains will allow for you to enter and exit the property timely.
We do supply shovels to assist you getting in and out, should you not be fully equipped with chains and 4 wheel drive. It’s important to understand this, due to snow removal being done on an “as soon as possible” schedule. You and/ or your guests will MOST LIKELY HAVE TO SHOVEL certain areas of the property when needed. Shovels are located in the garage and are meant for snow removal only. Please do not allow children to play with these shovels as they get left outside and covered by snow.
We want to ensure that this information allows you to check out timely. Delays in checking out cause additional cost to us by our cleaning crew and can and will be passed on to the guest unfortunately. We like to be very transparent and up front about expectations from us and from you. This is the same for 95% of short term rentals in Tahoe, although others just don’t disclose this leaving you potential problems.
Back and side decks are not service for snow during winter months. BBQ is available all year long and cover under patio. During this time no fire pits can be used due to recent fires in SLT. This house is not equipped with A/C. Most homes in Tahoe are not. This is a cabin and not a brand new home. If you are looking for a brand new home, this is not the place for you. This is a true Tahoe cabin. There are 2 showers, and 1 master bath shower is more of a quick rinse/soak in the bath tub type. 2-3rolls toilet paper provided and 1 roll paper towels. Garage fits small to medium size cars.
Home has wifi and cable tv with a FEW movie channels. Although these amenities are provided, we cannot always guarantee that service will be working due to weather conditions and other conditions outside our control.
Also, please keep in mind that you are renting in the mountains and certain animal and critter life can be present inside and outside the home.
Power outages are also common in the mountains during any season as from time to time, trees fall on power lines. This is something we cannot prevent nor control and is part of the possibility while renting in the mountains. Unfortunately , we cannot refund if this happens. Please know that these conditions are present no matter which home you choose to rent.
Ring is installed on the exterior of the home. Mis-stating your occupancy amount by adding guests after the disclosed amount on your reservation and rental agreement, without prior approval, will result in cancelation of reservation and forfeiture of all rents and deposits and can result in immediate eviction. Sorry we have to add this, as past parties have taken advantage of occupancy ordinances. Thank you for your understanding.
